Laughing

Gets better and better.
Eh, can't really knock a WR for pumping up his own QB, especially when they've been teammates and friends since college.

Yes you can. It was a very unintelligent remark. If we wanted to look unintelligent with his remarks, he succeeded. We should expect that out of anyone wearing that uniform.

Ya, but you can't measure toughness. Cutler wins hands down...

Now on a positive note to deflect the 4th quarter criticism of Rodgers recently from the scientists at Football Outsiders:
-Tiger Woods has NEVER, not even once, won a major when he didn't already have the lead, or share of the lead, heading into the 4th quarter. Or 4th & final round in this case, as they call them in the game of golf.

Every single one of Tiger's majors (I think 14), he's had the lead heading into Sunday's final rounds.
Now that's a front-runner.

Yeah, I'm a little sick of that one myself. Skip Clueless is one of the principals of that school. That's like saying the baseball hitter who hits two grand slams in his first two at bats doesn't deserve credit for the win.

There are different kinds of clutch I look for. I like a guy who completes a high percentage of passes on third down. I like a guy with a high batting average with runners in scoring position. I like a hockey goalie who kills a high percentage of penalties. But I don't understand the importance of playing your best late in games. If you play so well at the beginning that you lead the entire time, you don't need to play well late to win.

Quote:
“You know what? I’ve never seen a quarterback make some of the throws that A-Rod does. And I played with Drew Brees for two years,” Hargrove said after practice Monday. “When you see A-Rod put those balls on the back shoulder, you’re like, ‘Really, what can you do as a defensive player?’ You watch some of the 30-yard bullets that he throws, and you’re just like, ‘Dude, how are you doing that?’"

Yup, when it comes to all around "arm talent" Rodgers has NO equal. Truly special in that regard!

Further, Rodgers on go routes, 2011:

30/58, 51.7%, 890 yards, 15.3 Y/A, 11 TD, 0 INT, 136.8 QB Rating

Quote:
Rodgers leads the way, again, with 15.3 yards per attempt, all this in spite of the fact that his receivers conspired to drop eight passes on go routes. That’s as many drops as T.J. Yates suffered in total during the regular season.

Rodgers was also the only quarterback to top 50% in terms of completion percentage on go routes. His final mark of 51.7% was an astonishing number. To put that number in perspective, Jay Cutler (48.4%) and Blaine Gabbert (40.0%) had lower completion percentages than that on slant patterns last season.

and a look at go route attempts by QB's:

Rodgers: 58
Brady: 66
Brees: 47
Palmer: 41
Eli: 89

Why'd you click on Favre's name? It's highlighted in purple.

So unbelt, bro.

Pretty belt for putting these up though. Beltin' A.

Because I've looked up his stats before, bro. Mostly so I could look up these numbers:
