The comments by Shannon Sharpe last weekend still really irk me, but am I wrong or has none of the receivers defended Aaron since the comments were made? I don't hear everything, living in MN and all, but I would have assumed someone like Jennings or JJ would have said something to shut the stupid bastard's mouth.
Should I be worried about that? _________________

I only know what I read here. Aaron Rodgers seems very media savy.
I'm guessing someone brings media quotes in for them to laugh at.
I remember when Aaron Rodgers walked around the cancer patient wanting autographs at the airport. It made him look really really bad. The rest of the story was that he had already spent a long period of time with her and autographing tons of stuff and she told him she was going to ask other Packers for their autographs. Essentially AR was just getting out of her way with the rest of the team walking in behind him.
But it really looked like he was avoiding her.
I'm not worried about any recievers.
the whole O.set went to D. Driver's Mom's house before the superbowl to play Dance Revolution. _________________

Here's a good one:
http://www.footballsfuture.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=13869
Everyone wanted guys like Brodney Poole and Barrett Rudd, and were pretty unhappy about Rodgers and then think Roddy White would have been an awful pick.
It's funny because Rodgers and White are easily two of the best players from that entire draft class, and neither would have made Packer fans happy at all. _________________

I remember that draft day. When Aaron started to drop past #20 I actually entertained the idea ofdrafting him! It was remarkable that team after team went after other players and when he was sitting there at #24 I never really dreamed TT would actually pull the trigger with #4 around! I was very excited mainly because of all the hinting at retirement by Favre. Another thing that gives me pleasure is knowing there are 30 some other GMs now kicking themselves for passing him up.
Thanks Ted!! _________________

It s fun reading some of the old threads. I like this one:

The forum seemed alot gloom and doomier
than it is now. I guess that is what having a winning team will do for you. _________________

This play by RGIII reminded me of Aaron:
