Some guys still available in FA.
Nate Robinson
Jonny Flynn
John Lucas
Delonte West
All could be viable options as a back up PG. _________________

We gotta get somebody.
Shelvin Mack just isn't very good. |

Jonny Flynn would be my pick from this list. _________________

Nate Robinson is the best of that bunch, but likely the most expensive, too. _________________ Don't be afraid to turn the lights on...

I agree with you don't need to spend the $ on a guy that won't play much an let's be honest he's not much of a pg also, he's a scorer. Need a true pg, I'd like Pargo for those reasons. _________________

Jose Calderon??
I read a rumor yesterday that the Raptors might be looking to trade Jose Calderon, would people be interested in that?
The report suggested Trevor booker for Calderon. I love Trevor but that's a move I'd probably do. I think Calderon can play off the ball some, so I think I'd be a good move. _________________

Eww.
I hope not.
Calderon is good, but he gives nothing on the defensive end and is just an expensive back-up PG to Wall...
Booker is the most explosive power forward the Wizards have.
He's efficient.
He's tough.
He's smart.
He's quick.
He's young.
He's more valuable to the Wizards than Jose Calderon. _________________ Don't be afraid to turn the lights on...

I saw it on Michael Lee's Twitter feed, but I don't have the link...
AJ Price was signed by the Wizards.
I guess Wall will be playing 48 MPG. _________________ Don't be afraid to turn the lights on...

It's a decent signing, Price is young. I can deal with his back up averaging 6 pts, 2 assists and 1.5 rebounds a game. Wall is going to play 37 to 40 minutes a game anyways. If Crawford can play some pg, Price might not even play 10 minutes a game. _________________

http://blogs.bettor.com/Washington-Wizards-want-Bradley-Beal-to-be-more-aggressive-NBA-News-a174253
Wizards want Bradley Beal to be more aggressive. I do as well, He did average 17.6 pts a game and averaged 4.5 rebounds. I still thought there were 3 things he needed to improve upon after summer league:
1. Being more aggressive and looking for his shot more
2. Working on and hitting his free throws
3. I think he can be better on the defensive end. I know he's going to get better but just saying, I know he can be better
| Quote: |
The 6 foot 5 shooting guard averaged only 41 percent from the field, including 30 percent from distance during the 10 day event, an area where he needs to work on and improve. However, it was his level of aggressiveness that the Wizards were more concerned about, pushing him to come out of his natural pace and make things happen.
Beal is considered an unselfish player, who tries to get the team started around him and is always looking for the open player or the easy finish.
Wizards assistant coach Sam Cassell was seen talking up the rookie to play with more aggression and sort of press on in games during the summer league.
“Honestly, if I feel as though I’m open, coach is going to tell me to shoot it. It’s times I was open and passed and coach got all on my head, so I mean, certain situations, I’m an unselfish player. I’d rather get somebody else going. I’ll eventually get going myself. That’s just my mentality. But it’s really just staying focused and staying within the flow of the game, actually,” said Beal as reported by Michael Lee of the Washington Post. |

Beal's ball-handling is bad, too.
That's my only complaint about him.
Maybe it won't be as much of a factor immediately, because he gets to play off Wall, but if he wants to be mentioned with Ray Allen/DWade, he has to tighten up his dribbling.
I think the free throws will fall.
That was probably nerves. _________________ Don't be afraid to turn the lights on...

Kevin Seraphin's performance so far in the Olympic exhibition games:

| Quote: | France 74, Italy 54, 15 pts, 7 rebs
France 76, Italy 62, 11 pts
France 74, Ivory Coast 41, 11 pts, 8 rebs
France 79, Great Britain 74, 11 pts (5-8 FGs) 3 rebs, 16 mins
France 65, Spain 81, 6 pts (2-11 FGs) 3 rebs, 19 mins
France 78, Brazil 74, 8 pts (4-7 FGs), 4 rebs, 15 mins
France 57, Belgium 63, 13 pts (4-10 FGs) 6 rebs, 25 mins
France 84, Belarus 64, 16 pts (6-8 FGs) 3rebs, 15 mins
France 67, Australia 69, 8 pts (4-5 FGs) 1 reb, 18 mins |
This is one great article about Kevin. Judging from those stats he's maintaining a high level of play this summer for france. _________________

You guys think you will make the playoffs? I really hope so. This could be a pretty fun team to watch if things start clicking together nicely. _________________
