thruns my favorite card! after green sun. i just made this new deck the other day, it works pretty dang well.

Man I had fun with magic last semester, met a bunch of cool people.
But I haven't touched my cards all summer, and by the time I return next month... My deck won't compete (Red burn w/ vamps). It was solid bu I haven't gotten any good cards from the third set of innistrad block. That 1R goblin for 5/5 or take 4 DMG (or whatever) is THE perfect fit... But last I saw it was 15 bucks. 60 for 4 cards? Lol no.
Again, I like the game, but it's far too expensive for me to keep doin it. Might sell all my cards and make a small buck.

vexing devil. ahh he's great. but ya i'll pass on the that. i just pulled the new liliana and the thudnermaw hellkite. worth 25 and 30 respectilby. sold those real quick

I just put together, for fun, a deck that has 0 mana in it, it is all 0 cost artifacts and creatures/spells with artifact affinity so I can cast them for free. Probably won't work extremely well, but it will be a lot of fun.
I've also put together a fun idea for a sacrifice deck based around creatures that get x/x off of creatures in my graveyard and creatures in other peoples graveyards which should work out well.
And I have together a trample deck that allowed me to have 7 mana being generated in 5 turns and winning in 6 basically all the time.

My roommate, as it turns out, has a lot of magic cards and used to play it a ton.
The other day we played a couple of games. I won the first ones, but he got me on the final game. He had an elf deck and I used my Red splash Black Vamp burn deck.

i redid this, i chaged some cards but if i can get two arbor elfs, a utopia sprawl and then an overgrowth i get 14 mana turn 3  then genesis wave into taht and its basically over.

Ive had friends try to tell me it could block my flying creatures because of the whole cant be target of creature abilities. It doesnt work like that does it? Flying isnt really an ability imposed on another creature so I wouldnt think you could do that. |

Your friends are trying to cheat. Flying is an ability, but it doesn't target anything.

One of the really annoying things about the game is how it's so complicated that folks with even a little more knowledge can use that edge to scam and cheat.
