It's good to break the ice and start things off well. Hopefully he can "recruit" other Ohio kids to come here too, apparently the PA/OH area is brimming with talent this year.

Good to get an offer from Stanko so early in the process.
I like this start.

The entire Midwest is loaded this year.

This is a great get for us. Welcome to Penn State, Camren.

Hopefully, we get his teammate Armani Reeves and fellow Massachusetts player Canaan Severin, as well.

Penn State is going to have a great class this year, its the perfect storm with the number of schollies, talent in the area, spreading out offers to national recruits and not just local, and the new written offer rules. Very Happy

Just coming to post this. Very good pick-up, congrats. I know he was really high on Michigan, I thought he would eventually commit to us. Nonetheless, congrats.

Stay away from Reeves, thank you. Wink

Hey, hey, don't be too hasty. JoePa can't offer Canaan a corvette, like some other schools out there, but he can offer him SuePa's world famous spaghetti.

Commit #3: Brent Wilkerson DE/TE

http://pennstate.scout.com/a.z?s=157&p=2&c=1059246&ssf=1&RequestedURL=http%3a%2f%2fpennstate.scout.com%2f2%2f1059246.html

Great get!
Hopefully he brings Reeves with him!
I like him a lot more at DE than TE. He is very physical, great rip move, but doesn't move well enough in space to be a great receiving TE in college.

Great get and great start to the class so far. Keep it up! Very Happy

Another really good pick up, from a really good school. I don't think he knows Reeves though. Congrats on the pick up.

Ah! I did. I was thinking about commenting on Williams as well and just mixed the two thoughts into one. Laughing

Commit #4: Jesse James
http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/pittsburghtrib/sports/s_729561.html

http://pennstate.247sports.com/Article/Lions-class-gets-bigger-19923

Not a big time recruit, but I'll trust in Bradley when it comes to western PA kids. Welcome to Penn State, Jesse.

I think he could end up on one of the lines, he has a huge frame. We need 2 good TEs in this class, Brent Wilkerson is already in the fold and JP Holtz is very interested. Both of these guys can also play DE.

Kent Taylor grew up a Penn State fan, but it will be hard to get him out of Fl.
