That's good because I wasn't sure if anybody else other than Chiefer liked this kind of hip-hop on here. _________________

Most of the time I don't.
But there are exceptions like Distant Relatives. |

I'm just curious what you see as "Preachy"? Political? Like you told me you got rid of WINS, but I didn't even see that as preachy, because he wasn't telling you how to think, just telling you what he thinks. I don't know where the distinction is or where you draw the line in all honesty.
Also Great song AP, REKS is one of my favorite artists that is out now. I'll probably have a song up a bit earlier then usual tomorrow, in honor of Nate Dogg. _________________

Kind of like in your face, Immortal Technique is a perfect example of that.
If WINS had a better chorus and beat I would kept it, but Lupe's bars on that track kind of annoyed me too. |

Good Song.
I can't believe I haven't listened to any Reks until listening to R.E.K.S. I have been missing out severely _________________

In your face doesn't mean Preachy though . IT has to be upfront because that's the only way his message can get across. At least that's how I see it. Same way with Lupe in WINS
Why does Skylar Grey have to be on every Chorus nowadays? Seriously its annoying. But yeah they would of course give the crappier beat to the more political/Pro-Islam song right? I dunno man, there was a lot of truth in all of his bars, especially if you research what he said(He's actually being pretty subtle while not being subtle, thats the kinda Lupe I like to see). I know you'd rather be "entertained" or whatever, but I don't how anybody can't be entertained when a mainstream artists speaks something real for once.
Man I wish we could discuss politics here then I could break down his lyrics. Oh well. _________________

Well I have my own opinions and did my own research on the subjects he talked about in the song and honestly I don't want to hear about it anymore.

Thanks for posting those Nate Dogg songs Chiefer.
I was gonna post Regulate or Oh No tomorrow, but not anymore.
Are you still going to post another song later tonight or is this your SOTD for today?

He'll never be forgotten.
Nobody will ever come close to how good he was on hip hop hooks no matter how many people try.
He was versitile too.. he could make pump up hooks(till i collapse) or party hooks, or chill hooks.
RIP |
