News: According to reports, Randy Moss was set to be traded to the Oakland Raiders in exchange for two draft choices and LB Napolean Harris. Moss would not restructure his contract, however, which killed the deal.

- Napolean Harris? If we have to give up a player like Harris, and two picks, not being both of our firsts, I hope we make a play at this... Moss is believed to have said he will only restructure his contract for the Falcons, and Ravens... But maybe thats because we didn't show any interest yet, or at least thats he's known of. The loss of Coles hurts our chances badly of drafting MW. Besides him and Edwards, I'd rather give up a 1st this year, and a 3rd next year, along with a player like Coakley... Or any player other than roy and newman on the defensive side. I do love Ngyuen, Glover, and Ellis and I'd want nothing more than to win with our guys than a spoiled purple viking. But if we land him, we'll add to our win total tremendously. Granted we need defense, but with Moss, Keyshawn, Glenn, Witten, Julius, and family..... Whichever big arm is starting opening day, Drew... or Drew... (both can fling it) Whats keeping us from being a top scoring offense.... dont say o-line... because we'll be better...

I cant wait for some signings though...

Napoleon Harris is young and has a reasonable contract. He's a pretty good player. The key, though, would have been the 2 draft picks. I wonder what their values were. If one of them was the Raiders' 1st round pick this year, the Raiders would have been giving up an awful lot to land Moss IMO.

it was on ESPN last night...it was their first round pick, napoleon harris and another pick...i dont know if the other picks was next years first round pick, or a second....but i would like to keep both of our first round picks...and all of our players on the D

ESPN just reported that Moss has been traded to the Raiders. Well, theres one rumor over.

Wow, I know we may have not even been considering trading for Moss, but it sure feels like we were stolen from...we could of drafted him originally and we could of easily put something together that was as good as what the Raiders did!!!........well be alright though!!!!
