Wow, I just read Torre's book. Some of these guys seem like whack jobs. A-Rod in particular... Anyone else read it? _________________

You're a little behind, that was before 2009. Yeah, A-Rod's kind of a jerk as much as people fans try to warp Jeter into the villain. But I always got a sense of favoritism from him. _________________

Took me awhile to get too it!
Kinda sad how the Yanks are falling into the same bad habits. Not focusing on their starting pitching, taken players who don't fit in NY. _________________

Well this is pretty clearly a transition year. Transition to what is not entirely clear. _________________

You're 100% right. I could take a losing season if the way we run our team changes.
I'm not a Cashman guy, never have been, so we'll see. _________________

I just hope we get some prospects to jump levels. It is nice to have talent, not so nice when almost all is at High A and most 2 years away. _________________

I love our prospects and I think we will be bringing them up sooner than later.
Our big 4 are C Gary Sanchez and OFs Heathcott/Williams and Austin.
RF and C is pretty much open. We're prob gonna have a stop gap this year, and see some of these guys in late 2013 or 2014.
Really excited about these guys. Get rid of Granderson and let the youth take over. _________________

Well Sanchez still has a long way to go defense wise, and projections don't seem to factor in Williams until 2015. Hope we can get guys to step up. Also got young guys like Hensley and Aune to watch. _________________

Yea I've got Granderson in a keeper league that also has OPS...he's great for R/HR/RBI obviously but his strikeouts kill his BA and OPS...and he doesn't steal nearly as much as he used to which I don't think any of that is going to improve this coming season so I've actually been thinking about not keeping him...and I'll be thrilled when the Yankees don't either I was really hoping for a decent trade involving him this offseason. _________________

I could still see him gaining a descent amount back. Still has a lot of power, speed and plays a good CF. Some team would want want him I'd think.
Williams for 2015 seems right, exspecially because he is injured right now. I would say Heathcott is closest among the three outfielders. He just has to worry about his health. _________________

We're going cheap, still not as cheap as the Mets. _________________
