When will you consider buying a next-gen console?(PS4/XBOne)

With the reveal of XBox One and PS4 and with E3 coming up, when will you consider buying a new console, pending the launch titles are appealing enough?

Personally, no matter how impressed I am with either console, I wont buy one until at least 6 months after launch. I have a feeling both will have some issues that require patches, and I think by next summer or so, both should have at least 25 QUALITY games to choose from.

It will also give me a chance to see future titles that are announced and get feedback on the consoles so I can make the right choice.

How about you?

(Again...this is about the soonest you would CONSIDER buying one....not what you are thinking at this very moment...since minds will likely change).

Atleast half a year so all the bugs could get fixed and can get a good feeling for which console is better. Seems like the Xbox is being geared towards casual gamers

I'll probably get one when it launches. I still haven't decided which console I'll get yet. Right now I'm still leaning towards a PS4 for several different reasons, still very much could change that depending on E3. I don't really care about the console having problems or breaking, after what happened with the xbox 360, I expect both consoles to have great insurance policies meaning I should be able to get my console fixed or get a new one without any issues.

Ill consider buying both since the beginning, but the closest time Ill maybe buy it is Halo 5 and thats only if its not on the 360 lol

Hopefully I can wait for the Xbox One Slim lol

I'm not ready to commit to either for at least another couple of weeks

Xbox seems like they decided to save games mostly for e3.....and if it is getting 15 exclusive games, 8? Of which are new IPs ......that can change my opinions a lot.

At this point nothing screams must have on either to me....once Fallut 4 is announced I'll definitely have one of them though.

Probably sometime after the middle of its lifespan, unless some really impressive games come out. I don't see it happening though.

E3 will dictate how soon i will consider Xbox One. It takes about a year for prices to go down. Unless i'm completely intrigued this june, there's no room in my budget for a $500+ Console.

Probably when I get my taxes back in early 2014 for me to get a PS4. Depends on what other games will be out in late 2013 though.

Since NHL isn't coming out on the next gen I'm in no rush.

I'll probably wait until the year is up, hopefully it will only cost both my legs by that point so I can at least play with my real arms, unlike you robots.

Based off of some rumored "features" of the new Xbox, I don't plan on getting it at all. Not really sure about PS4.
