Alright guys, here's my 2nd mocks w/ a few tweaks after the combine
1. Hou- Reggie Bush RB USC
They take the big-time playmaker to help out the offense.
2. NO- Matt Leinart QB USC
Personally, I dont like the guy, but he seems to be who NO wants.
3. Ten- Jay Cutler QB VANDY
Vince Young's stupidity + Working w/ Fisher at the senior bowl + good combine + local guy = Jay Cutler
4. NYJ- D'Brickshaw Ferguson T VA
They take the monster tackle to help w/ their O line troubles
5. GB- Mario Williams DE NCST
A guy who is being compared to peppers, no brainer IMO.
6. SF- Vernon Davis TE MD
They need help everywhere, but i think they take this freakish athlete to help Alex Smith out.
7. OAK- Vince Young QB TEX
Collins is gone, Vince should thrive in this offense, plus he just seems like a raider
8. BUF- Haloti Ngata DT ORE
This monster DT should help fix their problems against the run.
9. DET- A.J. Hawk LB OSU
They are ecstatic that he's still here, and he brings some much needed help/playmaking ability to their defense.
10. ARI- Michael Huff DB TEX
They take a bigtime playmaker to help out their secondary
11. STL- Jimmy Williams DB VT
They have needs almost everywhere on D, but at this point williams is the best defensive player left so they nab him.
12. CLE- Manny Lawson DE/OLB NCST
After an excellent combine, lawson pretty much solidifies himself as the browns's pick unless some big name falls to them. He's exactly what they're looking for in the 3-4 Defense.
13. BAL- DeAngelo Williams RB MEM
Jamal's leaving so theyll need a new guy to carry the load. I'd take White here but im hearing the ravens would rather have williams.
14. PHI- Chad Greenway LB IOWA
They help out their shaky linebacking core w/ this solid player.
15. ATL- Tye Hill CB CLEM
Secondary is their weakest area and this guy has all the tools to be a shutdown corner except the size. He'll still be a great pro.
16. MIA- Ko Simpson S SC
Although I'm furious that Atlanta just took my fins's guy, Simpson is a nice consolation. He's a young, underrated safety who will start immediately and make our secondary much better.
17. MIN- LenDale White RB USC
Childress and company are jumping for joy as they get a guy who they had expected would be long gone and will fit well w/ them.
18. DAL- Winston Justice OT USC
They are desperate for an Olineman, and Justice is the 2nd best one in the draft. He played RT in college so he will fit in well here.
19. SD- Darnell Bing S USC
They Chargers make it three trojans in a row as they grab their safety for the future. I know hes been mentioned as a possible linebacker, but he will stay at safety and make plenty of plays there.
20. KC- Tamba Hali DE PSU
He's an excellent player who should've gone much higher. KC needs another DE so its a perfect fit.
21. NE- DeMeco Ryans LB BAMA
This very smart player will bring youth to an aging linebacking core and will become a star for the pats.
22. DEN(From WSH)- Chad Jackson WR FLA
I like Holmes better than Jackson but i think jackson fits better in Denver. Hes a bigger guy, which is what i think they want. They need a WR to take over for smith.
23. TB- Marcus McNeil OT AUB
The O line is probably their biggest weakness. THis is a good fit b/c McNeil plays RT and Simms is left-handed.
24. CIN- Broderick Bunkley DT FSU
A steal if they can get him at this point. They really need help stuffing the run and this guy can provide that.
25. NYG- Santonio Holmes WR OSU
I thought I'd switch things up here. He'd be a nice fit in the offense and would truly open things up. I'm interested to see how giants fans will respond to this pick. It's subject to change if they dont like it.
26. CHI- Leonard Pope TE GA
A huge target who will greatly help out Grossman. He should help convert 3rd downs and be a weapon in the redzone. Will really improve their offense.
27. CAR- Laurence Maroney RB MINN
Other than Bush, Maroney is the biggest homerun threat back in the draft. Davis is gone, and i dont think Foster will ever be able to carry the load. He might be one of the missing links for the panthers. Maroney and Foster will make a nice one-two punch.
28. JAX- Anotonio Cromartie CB FSU
One of my favorite players in the draft. A steal at this point if he can stay healthy, which i feel he will. ALong w/ mathis, Jacksonville might end up having the league's best CB tandem for years to come.
29. DEN- Mathias Kiwanuka DE BC
They needed a DE anyway, and after cutting Price this pick becomes a no brainer. He'll probably be a bust, but he has too much talent and potential for the broncos to pass up.
30. IND- Ernie Simms LB FSU
Dungy likes speed on defense, and this explosive linebacker will provide plenty of that.
31. SEA- Bobby Carpenter OLB OSU
Their LB's played well this year, but they cut sharper and they could still use some help. Carpenter is a physical, smart player who is a pretty safe pick. Teaming w/ Tatupu, the seahawks could have an excellent young LB core.
32. PIT- Eric Winston OT MIA
This pick took me the longest to think of. Steelers fans might hound me for it, and thats ok. I know starks supposedly played well, but Winston has a lot more potential than him. The other thing was they dont have many needs so they can afford to gamble a bit.

If Hawk is on the board, he is definitely the man for the Raiders
by the way, I just can't find any news that collins has been cut.
where have you read this? |

his size isn't even that bad.,
DeAngelo Hall at the combien in 2004 measured in at 5'10-1/4"
Tye Hill at the combine in 2006 measured in at 5'9-5/8"
only 5/8" difference. that's about the size of your pinky toe. so I woudl have to say his size isn't any problem at all. _________________

Vince Young would be a better pick than Jay Cutler.......Cutler wont go in the top 5 and if they wanted him then they would trade down to get him _________________

I agree they could trade down but i think ultimately cutler will end up a Titan. Since i didnt do any trades i had him going at 3 but yea i think they should/will trade down a few spots.
by the way bateez i dont think collins has actually been cut, i just think he will be. sorry if that confused you i probably should have said he is as good as gone or something like that _________________ Antonio Cromartie will win ROY in 06 |

LenDale White does not fit our system at all. Laurence Maroney would be the better pick _________________
