Good game over all and 3 point in the bag. Made a little bit more difficult than it should have been. The first half was absolutely brilliant, but the subs killed us the second half.
I though Jones and Smalling played really well. Same goes for De Gea who came up big. _________________

He said that Ferguson has a big decision to make because Jonny Evans has arguably been United's best player this season. Now it isn't an issue for the time being because we can work Vidic back into the team by playing once every 2 or 3 games, but when everyone is fit - who plays?
Personally, I think Rio and Evans have done enough to say they should be starting. |
To be honest if he was 100% I'd play Vidic and Evans.
Although I think Smalling given time will be starting too.
Evans has been solid for us no doubt, I didn't think he would be, but he still is susceptible to a dumb moment of bad defending. _________________

Yeah... no.
I've read the article, so I understand his meaning, but there is absolutely no way of comparing Keane or Carrick.
I also don't remember him "dominating" the midfield against City? _________________

I think Carrick and Cleverley are forming a good partnership together right now. I just hope both can stay healthy. You can tell a huge drop off in quality when both came out for Giggs and Scholes yesterday. _________________

I think United knock Madrid out personally, been an awful year for Madrid. _________________

We need a good result in the 1st leg. Real are really, really dangerous on the counter attack so if we have to come at them at home, we could be left exposed.
An away goal would be very nice. _________________ 20 TIMES, 20 TIMES MAN UNITTTTTEEDDD

I think our best line-up would be DDG in the goal with Rafa, Vidic, Ferdinand and Evra at the back. Carrick, Clev and Anderson in midfield. RVP upfront with Rooney and Kagawa behind him.
This is going to be fun... I can't wait. Two counter attacking teams going at it. I hope we make Ronaldo wish he never left. _________________

Not enough width. We need Valencia and Young in the team, probably at the expense of Kagawa and Cleverley. _________________

Defense looked top notch today. Blocked at lot of the shots before the ball could even make it to De Gea. I must say it was a good thing to see Vidic back there and it was awesome to see Kawage back also. _________________

Whilst our last gasp Defending was good, I wasn't that impressed with the Defense (as silly as that sounds), in particular with Vidic and Smalling with the ball. Nemanja is so rusty with the ball at his feet. The amount of times he panicked and needlessly played it back to DDG who in turn spanked it forward was frightening. Smalling isn't good enough with the ball at his feet to be a RB. He looks lost when he isn't playing 5 yard passes, and even more lost when he actually has to carry the ball.
First half we were very good yesterday, especially the Cleverley-Kagawa linkups. Second half we were dreadful. _________________ 20 TIMES, 20 TIMES MAN UNITTTTTEEDDD

Any united team without Valencia in is wrong. _________________
