I'm right there with you with RvP, maybe more so. I honestly hope we don't play too many big names at all. I wanna see what a few young Eredivisie players can do, like Pieters and de Jong.

RVP won't play I'm sure due to the ankle injury he picked up yesterday.
Wilshere's is more precautionary.. but RvP I'm worried about how fast he recovers so he can be ready for the Newcastle game.

Has anyone else noticed how awful that England squad is? I mean, I know our media overrate us at the best of times, but that is literally awful

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. That is mainly why I posted it. England's media needs to really lower the expectations on the England national team. They can never live up to those expectations with the quality of players they have.

Pretty funny how Cleverley wasn't even a consistent starter for England U21's in the Euro Championships
I don't think he has the pace to play out wide at the top level, so I hope he develops as a CM.
In the near future England's starting lineup could include Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Tom Cleverley, Ashley Young, Danny Welbeck and Wayne Rooney.

No England future line-up is correct unless Jordan Henderson is starting.
I do have to say that United is developing/signing some nice young talent for the future.

Yeh you have to remember that whilst I am definitely loving United having good English talent, it hasn't come cheap.
Rooney - £30 million
Young - £20 million
Smalling - £12 million
Jones - £15 million
The good ole English premium ... But that British resolve shows in United's attitude, and I think the lack of it shows in Arsenal's attitude for example.
