Yeah that was my only problem with TexansUK's list.

Haha. It's a shame that the future of English football is not in the squad. Jordan Henderson would turning this squad into a WC winning side in no time.

Also upon further review of the English squad you are right TexansUK, Milner is a fantastic pick haha. Whatever keeps Barry out of the team.

I honestly don't know why Capello picks these squads.

Crappy senior players taking the spots of rising youngsters.

"Experience" my arse.

Experienced players are pretty pointless in the first year of a four year cycle. This should be when you play the youth players to get them experience for the WC. Silly Capello. I wonder if he even picks his team anymore or if he draws names out of a hat. It is quite hard to tell.

On the flip side, my preferred Nederland XI given who's healthy:

GK: Steklenberg

LB: van der Wiel
RB: Erik Pieters
CB: John Heitinga
CB: Joris Mathijsen

CDM: Nigel De Jong
CDM: Mark van Bommel

LW: Eljero Elia
CM: Wesley Sneijder
RW: Dirk Kuyt

ST: Klaas-Jan Huntelaar

Will be a lot of subs on both sides either way I'm sure.

van der Wiel plays primarily at right back, Erik Pieters plays primarily at left back. I think you inverted those two.

Yep just gotta flip those around..

BTW do you know what Robben's status is? Hadn't seen him playing for the NT recently but he's been getting called up. Do you think he'll play/start?

wales vs australia on wednesday...and we have most of our first team to pick from!

GK: Hennessey (Wolves)
LB: Taylor (Swansea)
CB: Williams (Swansea)
CB: Collins (Stoke)
RB: Gunter (Nottingham)
LW: Bale (Tottenham)
CM: Collison (West Ham)
CM: Vaughan (Sunderland)
CM: Ramsey (Arsenal)
RW: Bellamy (Man City)
ST: Morison (Norwich)

Only missing James Collins and Sam Ricketts. Although i doubt the above players play 90 mins because they'll be playing on the weekend. But we still have some good players on the bench, such as Ledley, Gabbidon, Earnshaw, Andy King and Joe Allen.

In all honesty the Welsh squad isn't that awful talent wise. They lack a lot of depth which really hurts them, it is a shame they haven't been more successful.

England's friendly against the Netherlands at Wembley on Wednesday has been called off following three nights of rioting in London.

The Football Association confirmed the decision on their website on Tuesday.

Carling Cup matches at Charlton, West Ham, Crystal Palace and Bristol City have all been postponed.

Well at least one good thing has come from the riots Laughing

But seriously, this is terrible news. The Gov need to get this under control very soon.

Well clearly it's irrelevant now, but I'm not sure. You really never know what;s going on behind the scenes of the Oranje, someone's always in a row with their coach or teamates Laughing

Wow. That is crazy. I didn't know it was that serious. Works out well for Premier League teams though.

Why is Cassano the captain for Italy Rolling Eyes

Really nice football from Italy... Pretty one touch passing from the whole squad. Up 1-0 from a Montolivo chip.
