Messi misses chip that would have been a superbly worked goal by Argentina. Shame.

Khedira's OG is a textbook near post slice. Brilliant.

I've always thought Belgium was a good side. They have talent for the future.

Clear diagnosis: our forwards can kill the game any minute they like, and so can our defenders...

Great game of the Belgians against Holland.
Belgian in a 4-3-3 with DM Steven Defour playing man2man against Sneijder which pretty much blocked Holland's playmaking ability. The times the Dutch were dangerous, it came from their individual quality on the flanks (Robben & Narsingh), but rarely from an organized attack.

The Belgian players wanted to make a statement of this game and made some comments in the press to involve the crowd. It was clear from the start they wanted to win this one; it's not an ordinary friendly when the crowd is whistling all through the Dutch national anthem Smile

The talent of the Belgians was superior, despite their lack of championship qualifications in the last couple of years. Just listing the names gives you an impression of the depth of this team. Yesterday Courtois, Vertonghen, Defour & Witsel were outstanding and subs Lukaku, Dembele, De Bruyne & Mertens made the difference in the last 30 minutes of the game. If you can, try to find a video online with the last goal (Vertonghen). That cross from De Bruyne to Mertens was just fantastic. The fans of Bremen will quickly love this kid.

Scotland v Serbia was awful, and sadly I paid 26 to watch such tedium.

Two poor teams who will be nowhere near the World Cup. Croatia are the top seed, but I think Belgium win this group. Putting together a great team.
