Kris Medlen has unconscious. Both Atlanta and my fantasy team are reaping all the benefits. With him adding stability to an already talented Braves rotation, there's lots of post-season potential. Pitching can get you deep in the playoffs. _________________

Medlen vs Lohse is what it looks like for Friday. Lohse pitched Saturday, Carpenter pitches tonight, and Wainwright pitches tomorrow. Im sure it could change if the Cards clinch tonight. They might decide to rest Wainwright, but Lohse has been better, so Id still think he will pitch Friday.
Huddy has been scratched from his start tomorrow. Good move. Got to get the rotation ready for the NLDS, if we win Friday. _________________

Well at least he is a right hander. He is good though. |

103 innings is not enough to determine anything, plain and simple |

You know, youre right. Medlen has only thrown 48 innings at home as a starter, and just over 100 total. That is not enough to determine if he is a good pitcher this year. Might as well start someone else on Friday, just in case. Maybe Sean Gilmartin? _________________

Sorry you can't handle a perfectly valid objection. If you want to be petty though, who would you have playing? Obviously not Jason heyward, Martin Prato, chipper jones, Tim Hudson or Johnny venters?
To say lohse wont be good becAuse he is pitching on the road based on a 103 inning sample is just plain stupid. |

If you didnt like my argument, then why did you steal it and use it in the WC game thread? You are bitching just to [inappropriate/removed], like normal, and yes it does make sense. We have a whole seasons worth of data. I dont care if it is only 103 innings. Its a seasons worth, and is better to look at than previous years, since 2012 is totally independent than other years.
I mean because of your ridiculous statement, you must not think that Medlen is a good starting pitcher, because we only have 100 innings of data.
Once again, you are a troll. You have some weird thing for all of my posts in all forums. I think if I said the sky was blue, you would argue. I have no clue why I even addressed you in the first place. You know nothing about sports, except that you are a homer and cannot have a objective discussion.
Im done with you forever. Post if you want to, or argue any of my points in any other thread, but you will be talking to a wall, because I wont even read them. _________________

Well, that sucked. End he end of the day though, we had plenty of chances to win. The errors really hurt us but he inability to bring guys in lost us the game. With that said, there will be a feeling of "what if" because that stupid call. I don't even understand why MLB brings in another umpire, the game should be called in the playoffs just like its called in the regular season.
On to next year though. It will be interesting how this teamis going to look. Do we resign bourn? And do we keep paradox I. Lft and look for a 3b or vice versa? |

Brutal way to end such a great season. 1 game playoffs are worthless when you play 3 and 4 game series' all year long. _________________
