German press reports, that FC Fulham made offers for Bayer Leverkusens Eren Derdiyok and Dortmunds Lucas Barrios.
So it appears, that they are in the market for a new striker. _________________

Has had his moments over the past few seasons.. I think he benefited from playing with N'Zogbia. Form hasn't been too great this season. _________________

Chelsea are set to complete the signing of Kevin de Bruyne within the next 48 hours, with the 20 year-old set to undergo a medical this afternoon at the club’s training ground, according to the BBC. |
6.7m is a good price I think. Hopefully he'll be making an impact in a few years. _________________

I might actually wake up at 6am for deadline day tomorrow Here are my hopes and dreams:
Out:
Pavlyuchenko - £7 million to Ruskie team
Dos Santos - £5 million to La Liga
Pienaar - £2 million to QPR
Bassong - £3 million to QPR
Gomes - Season long loan
Corluka - Season long loan (Rumoured to Roma, West Ham and Leverkusen)
In:
Damiao - £17-20 million
To be honest, if we could just get rid of those players I would be pretty happy. It would save us about £150,000 of wages per week. Realistically I think we will be able to shift 2 or 3 of them and possibly get a striker in. _________________

The rumour mill seems to be blowing up already regarding Spurs transfers.
Corluka to Bayern Leverkusen is looking more and more likely,
Pav to either Spartak Moscow or Anzhi is a possibility,
Bassong and Pienaar to QPR,
Dos Santos to Villarreal,
With Spurs planning bids for Marin and Damiao.
Looks like it should be an exciting day tomorrow _________________

Heard Boyd is leaving Rangers.
Other than De Bruyne and Cahill, this has been uneventful for Chelsea. _________________

Boyd wasnt at Rangers, he terminated his contract with a Turkish side. He does appear to be heading to Portland Timbers, though.
To be fair, thats a reasonable transfer window. Especially compared to a number of other teams so far. When you consider the grand total spent by British clubs is somewhere aroynd £30 million atm, its not a bad haul. _________________

We were the Man City before Man City became Man City. I expected expensive transfers.
Also I understand the Boyd rumor now that you cleared it up. _________________

In the last year, Chelsea have bought;
Torres - £50 million
Luiz - £25 million
Romeu - £5 million
Mata - £23.5 million
Meireles - £12 million
Lukaku - £13 million rising to £18
Cahill - £7 million
Thats over £135 million, what more do you expect _________________
