There is only one Manuel Almunia.

Oh man! How did I forget about him? Future England keeper Manuel Almunia, that hair as well!

Edit: There is something about football that makes it so much more entertaining to reminisce about former players than any other sport. I'm not sure if it is because you are more exposed to players personalities or just the individual nature of the sport or what but it's not the same in other sports.

No Philippe Senderos love? He can be Lee's favorite Arsenal AND Fulham player.

I literally gagged a little bit when I read that. I've had nightmares about Senderos and Zat Knight partnered in central defense.

We didn't concede for 6 straight games on the way to making it to the Champions League final with a backline of Eboue/Senderos/Toure/Flamini. Easily Arsene's strangest accomplishment as a manager.

Wow. That might be the impressive thing I've ever heard in relation to the sport. I honestly can't wrap my head around that.

Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing all you can do is laugh at that. I don't know if most people would expect that backline to go 6 games without conceding in the championship Laughing

Cameron Jerome, Jordan Rhodes and Patrick Bamford would destroy that back line.

I should hope so too?

Those 3 (maybe not Jerome) would do damage in the Premiership.

Not a huge french following on this place - but welcome! This is definitely one of the best sub forums on the site.
