I loved watching Howard during the World Cup in South Africa a few years ago and he really was the catalyst for me becoming a soccer fan. Most of my friends find soccer hard to watch but to me its full of excitment. The flow of the game can change so quickly and so dramatically that one moment your dozing off and the next your on the edge of your seat white knuckled and face taut. Near misses, huge momentum shifts and stops, heart pounding penalty and free kicks, and unrivaled passion for a sport. Soccer is truly underrated in the states and its a damn shame. |

Howard is absolutely brilliant and I think he is very underrated worldwide and even nationally. He digs a very average defense out of trouble so often. My friends didn't really appreciate soccer originally but now they are really in to it. Sometimes you just have give it a chance, I hope your friends do it makes watching matches so much more enjoyable. _________________

All-Time Favourite Player - Landon Donovan

Pretty weak that an American is my all-time favorite, I know. But anyways, I just recently became a Chelsea fan after going to Stamford Bridge over winter break. I went for the Chelsea-Villa match that ended in a 3-1 defeat in what was one of the breaking points of AVB's run. The atmosphere was great and although Villa's supporters were probably louder I just really enjoyed everything about Chelsea and my experience at the Bridge. I tried to watch as many matches as I could over the past semester but going into 2012-2013 I want to become a full time supporter and become familiar with the transfer market and stuff like that. And on that note, sorry texans_uk but it looks like we are enemies for this sport _________________

I trust you got someplace you can crash so you don't drive drunk? I'm going to be chilling at one of my friends house depending on what happens tonight, might go to this club in the Detroit where my buddy lives in one of the Towers apartments or go to my friends house in Novi for Dos Santos vs Mir. |
