I think players of the quality of Gerrard and Cole can last to then maybe. Providing they remain injury free which is doubtful.
As I said there are times when Johnson's defensive deficiencies make him inappropriate for a full time RB. But his quality going forward makes him a valuable asset who should definitely be involved, he gives us ane extra attacker to help break down defensive teams. |
If anything I would like to see Smalling at RB. He has been a boss there for United. |
He has looked good but I thought he'd move back once Rafael recovers and pair up with Jones? |
Possibly, thats the plan.
But to be honest he has been twice the player of Rafael. The Spurs game tells you all you need to know. He kept Bale in check whilst having a hand in two of the goals, and his overlapping provided a great outlet. _________________

I like the experimantal team that you put together. If that squad of players was to stary playing together now they could be superb by 2014. Get rid of Cole, Terry, Gerrard, Lampard. They are all too old to help us in the future. _________________

As someone who despises Rafael I'd love to see him pushed out of the Utd line up. Would that make Evans the future at CB alongside Jones or just play Vidic until a replacement is bought. |

And, other than Ashley Cole, underperform horribly for England. _________________

Wonder if Capello will be man enough to give Cleverly some solid playing time. England's midfield lacks a creative aspect to it and Cleverly would make the England team much better if he was given Lampard's or Milner's spot. _________________

Gary Cahill seems like the most likely to be next, for the foreseeable future. As long as its not Rooney. _________________

I keep forgetting about Cahill, he should be starting for England. _________________

Apparently we will be starting a midfield trio of Barry, Milner and Lampard.
And I thought Capello was playing players based on form? _________________

Oh, I am actually laughing out loud and not just using that emotocon.
Who else is starting? I hope that Walcott is benched for either Downing or Johnson. _________________
