Definitely should have won the game against Lazio. Milan were clearly the better team its just too bad it took a while to shake the rust off and then 3 goals was just asking a little too much.
And I would take a 2-2 tie at Camp Nou anytime. The return match should be interesting, hopefully both teams will be at full strength by then. | Disagree. You guys were invisible in that first half, I think a draw was fair.
A draw against Barca was a great result, a very lucky result, but still a great one. _________________

The first half of the first half maybe but it's hard to say they were invisible the whole half considering they scored two and had more chances later in the half. And the second half was almost all Milan obviously they couldn't put it away though and all that matters is the final result.
I wouldn't say it was a great result or that they were exceptionally lucky, yes Barcelona dominated possession but as far as legitimate chances on goal go they were pretty even. _________________

I will take a draw when the team is down 2-0 any day of the week, expecially against a good team like Lazio.
I feel Milan played well expecially on the road. Getting a tie will set up nicely for the return leg _________________

Well let's see if we can get this thread going again.
The game today was a little disappointing, I was hoping that Merkel would show a little more since I'm sure he'll be getting playing time with Boateng/Aquilani/Gattuso out for a while. I'm still not sold that Urby should be playing in the trequarista role. To me the only enjoyable part of that game was watching El Shaarawy, I really think he'll be a good one.
The signing of Mesbah is official now. I don't know too much about him so I'm just praying that he can at least be solid at LB. _________________

So not a bad first half, although I missed the first 5 minutes or so and the goal they conceded. But from what I saw Mesbah looked pretty solid going forward and OK in the back, just needs to clean it up a little.
The two young guns both looked pretty good, especially Shaarawy. It's going to be a lot of fun to watch him play (hopefully for Milan) for a long long time.
Also I haven't heard it anywhere else but the announcers were saying that KPG could be back in a week or so and may be healthy for CL. _________________

Well Van Bommel just got punched and somehow none of the refs saw it, ridiculous... _________________

3-1 over Lazio to set up a showdown against Juventus. But up next is Cagliari which should be fairly straightforward. _________________

Well looks like Tevez isn't coming which I wouldn't care too much about except for the fact that it means Maxi Lopez is coming instead. Bleh... _________________

Wrong thread but Llorente was the rumoured first choice
To bring it back on topic though. I really never understood Milan's fascination with Maxi Lopez. I watched 2/3 Catania games and he seems really average. _________________

I think their fascination stems from his price tag. Milan tend to look in the bargain bin for players. _________________

And on an unrelated note Merkel will supposedly be out for ~2 months so you can add that to the ever growing list of injured Milan midfielders. _________________
