Anyone else totally looking forward to this series? It has major potential IMO... also an intriguing plot-line, sorta 24esque but still not the same.
| Quote: | | Centers on Marine Sergeant Nicholas Brody, who returns home eight years after going missing in Iraq, and Carrie Anderson, a driven (and possibly unstable) CIA officer who suspects he might be plotting an attack on America. |
| Quote: | | Who's the hero – who's the threat? When MIA Marine Sgt. Nicholas Brody returns home to a hero's welcome after eight years in enemy confinement, brilliant but volatile CIA agent Carrie Mathison isn't buying his story. She believes that Brody has been turned and is now working for Al Qaeda. What follows is a dangerous game of cat and mouse with nothing short of American national security at stake. |

For those of you that don't get showtime, YouTube has the edited pilot on their website: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=za9hEyxHSBA&feature=sh_e_se&list=SL
I watched it and am truly hooked. There are so many ways they could take it, as they piece things together each episode. I will say that the relationship between the husband and wife seems forced but that would probably happen if u were apart for so long and if your mate thought you were dead. _________________

Damian Lewis is a boss, maybe I'll watch it next week when the Jets aren't playing. Either way I'll end up checking it out sometime. Maybe wait for DVD and watch it all at once. _________________

Saw it a couple weeks ago. Not as good as I was hoping for. _________________

| No doubt the pilot was good, but it will be interesting to see if the show can sustain the premise for the whole season or even for a season 2. I was impressed with Claire Danes and Damian Lewis was great as always. |

The pilot was pretty good, and I didn't really expect to be that impressed. Like others have said here, I have a hard time seeing how this plot is sustainable for more than even one season. Either they drag it out, or it loses focus. The writers are gonna have to be really good to make it work in the long run. _________________

I was just reading how it ended up being the 2nd largest (viewership wise) premiere for showtime ever.... _________________

Good pilot, tons better than most of the other ones I've been watching this year. I have some low standards though. I'll be watching next week. _________________

Any ideas on how they could make this last multiple seasons IF the ratings stay high like the premiere was? _________________
