1st Round: CB Stpehon Gilmore, South Carolina

I'm of the opinion corner is a huge need for us. Calvin Johnson isn't going anywhere, the packers are an offensive juggernaut, and if minnesota decides to draft blackmon then we definately need to upgrade at the corner position.

2nd Round: DE Vinny Curry, Marshall

Excatly what we're looking for. Big guy whose strength is rushing the passer. He can come in on 3rd down and rush the passer and is good enough to spell izzy/peppers. Can develop into a solid starter under marinelli's coaching

3rd Round: LB Keenan Robinson, Texas

Lovie likes this guy and so do I. Could compete at SLB for us and if not can be a rotational/future starter for us.

4th Round: DT Jaye Howard, Florida

Good depth and rotation guy.

5th Round: WR Tommy Streeter, Miami

Has the size (6'5) and speed (4.4) to stretch defenses out and give cutler yet another offensive weapon. With him and marshall on the field it can also open thigns up for our slot and TE options.

6th Round: C David Molk, Michigan

Just a warrior reminds scouts of olin kreutz would love to see him in a bears uniform has a high ceiling.

7th Round: SS Sean Richardson, Vanderbilt

Solid depth guy could make the team.

Depth Chart:
QB: Cutler, Campell
HB: Forte, Bush, Bell
FB: Clutts
TE: Davis, Spaeth, Adams
LT: Webb
LG: Chris Williams/Lance Louis (position battle)
C: Garza, Molk
RG: Spencer, Edwin Williams
RT: Carimi
WR: Marshall
WR: Streeter
Slot: Bennet, Hester

RE: Peppers, Curry, Wooten
DT: Paea, Toeina
DT: Melton, Howard
LE: Idonijie, Curry, Wooten
WLB: Briggs
MLB: Urlacher
SLB: Roach/Robinson (position battle)
CB: Tillman
CB: Gilmore, Jennings
NB: DJ Moore
SS: Wright, Steltz
FS: Conte, Richardson

Title was spot on.

I think there is zero chance Gilmore is there at 19 - ditto Vinny Curry at 50 - ditto Keenan Robinson at 79.

If we get Gilmore at 19, I would actually really...really like it.

And I don't mind Curry at 50, he's a big of a project, but we don't need him necessarily for 2012, we need him for 2013. If Marinelli can get his hands up and knock passes down with his long arms, he'd be a great addition...

I wouldn't mind the first 2 rounds (I'd say the 3rd is too early for Keenan)

If this happened I wouldn’t really have a problem with it…I doubt Gilmore will be there and I like Kirkpatrick more for us but weirder things have happened on draft day…Curry would be a very good pick up if we could get him at 50…again I doubt he is there but you never know…not a massive fan of Robinson…if we are going to reach for an OLB I would rather have Bradham…Howard could make for a good backup UT…Streeter is raw but has a lot of the tools…I reckon someone will fall in love with his potential and take him a few rounds higher…big fan of Molk & Richardson tho it would be a surprise for them to last this long.

If it happened I'd be happy. All are good players.

First four picks all defense? Bears go 8-8 and Jason Campbell plays alot.

That draft is a D

other teams can't win if they can't score

Works both ways. Bears cant win if they cant score either...It was pretty evident how this worked this past season when Cutler went down and the Bears were barely getting over single digits in some games and actually not even going over double digits in one.

we didn't have brandon marshall last year and our first round offensive tackle so with both those guys back this offense should be alright. in this mock we add streeter who is yet another weapon for cutler to use.

and also like I said in this thread I would definately trade ALL draft picks for the number 3 spot if it meant getting kalil. I'm serious

I'm serious draft and play an all pro left tackle for the next 10 years and see how far this team will go.

I am with you on this. We do need depth but see what happens in the FA market after the draft. I would do this in a heartbeat.

I get this is a out of control trade, but really what need do we have as high as a LT.
