Surprised no one got a thread up for this.

Comes out this week, early reviews have been great

I am currently searching for some viral marketing to loop together between Rise and Dawn. I think there is 15 years between the two movies

It's a shame James Franco is not in this.

The first movie when Cesar yells Noooooooooooooo at the guy that tormented the apes in that zoo. Shocked

That actually gave me a big fright which doesn't happen often in movies anymore.

About the "nooooo" scene from the first one, that really scared me so bad I couldn't even believe it. And I don't even fully know why.

As far as this one, it has Gary effing Oldman in it and it has been getting incredible reviews. I never would have guessed this would get such great reviews.

Yea... so what? First off you weren't expecting it so that made it frightening but also psychologically it just made you think damn that ape just spoke English. Things are getting real now Shocked Shocked Shocked

First one with Franco was not something I had high expectations for but I enjoyed it a lot. This one looks like it could be just as good.

I go to the theaters maybe twice a year but I'll be seeing this at one point or another regardless.

Yeah it was the psychology of it. You summed it up perfectly. Doesn't have to be a horror movie to give you a fright and to be honest no horror movie ever got me like that scene.

That scene was just amazing

Does anybody know if this is actually a sequel to the last one plot wise? Or is an entirely separate story?
