You're crazy | I would go out on a limb and say he meant in terms of entertainment not talent haha. _________________

There's just no other team that plays like them. A mix of Bielsa's intensity and velocity, combined with Guardiola's patience and possession predominance.
Sampaoli combined the best from two worlds and made La U play an extraordinary, fantastic football. _________________

Yeah, obviously from a talent perspective they would struggle against a lot of European teams, but their style of football is mesmerising. Like Patro says, they're like a high-intensity Barcelona. Press so high up the pitch, and when they have the ball they play with a pace and fluidity that's just ridiculous. Everybody knows South American football doesn't have the defensive talent or structure the European game does, but the way La U have carved open every defence they've played against this season has been breathtaking. The game against Deportivo Quito, they were actually playing too quickly for the first half an hour. It was frantic.
They're up against Libertad in the Copa Lib this week. Fascinating clash in styles, I think. Libertad are also a team who play at a quick tempo, but are much more direct than Universidad. They play like the Paraguayan national team tbh. Lots of pressing, lots of men behind the ball, very quick counter-attacks. And La U leave a huge amount of space at the back thanks to the style they play. I could actually see this playing right into Libertad's hands and them getting a result in the home leg.
Would recommend anyone who can, to watch both legs of this quarter-final. For the 1st leg to see a complete contrast in styles and probably a very entertaining match, and in the 2nd leg to see La U completely tear them apart at Nacional. _________________

^ Good description on what actually happened on that leg. First game was quite entertaining, a clash of different but effective styles where it all ended 1-1. At El Nacional, La U played some hell of twenty minutes but then Libertad tied the game with an OG, which made U de Chile extremely cautious and maintained the intensity level but didn't have a free flow football as they usually do. They passed after PK's finally. They play Boca now (going to the stadium), where I hope they are finally eliminated. But I'm afraid, Boca has the history, mystique and experience. We play a very effective, practical, quick football and depend a bit on what day is JRR having (if the guy is having a good, every time he touches there will be a perfume of a goal coming). I wonder how that will match up against La U.
On an other note, Sabella is making Argentina play pretty well and Messi is doing good with national team shirt. Very happy, have to admit. _________________

I thought La Bombonera would fall.
La 12 is just out of their mind. _________________

Who you got Boca or La U?
Do you think Santos can come back from their 1-0 loss to Corinthians? _________________

2-0 Boca, shirt to the washing machine cause it is wet.
OD - I got Santos, albeit they lost yesterday. I will not comment on the other game. Silence is my best allied at the moment, even though we won the first game. _________________

Watching the 2nd leg of Corinthians-Santos, Neymar scores and makes it 1-0, 1-1 aggregate. Should be a very exciting match now... _________________

Had so much fun at the stadium yesterday, we weren't more than 3000 but it was a party. I have no voice at the moment. I may post some pictures later on if they're good quality.
To the final! _________________
