I hated Breaston at Michigan. He was always nicked up and was never the receiving threat he was supposed to be. Was always solid on ST when he was healthy though.

He wasn't used properly iyam.

Not to mention there was always a better reciever on the team, but I loved him regardless

And Manningham's touchdown against Penn State at the last second made him a hero long before his super bowl catch Laughing

Some recruiting news:

2013 VA RB Derrick Green enjoyed his visit to Michigan and wants to take an official visit during the season. Sounds like we will for sure be taking another RB in this class.

2013 MD DL Henry Poggi really enjoyed his visit (as did his parents) to Michigan and will likely decide by the end of April. I believe he is scheduled to visit Texas and A&M and maybe some west coast schools between now and then.

A number of 2014 guys visited (4 or 5 from Cass Tech and a couple other non-Cass Tech guys I think) and all enjoyed the visit as well.

2015 MI QB Jayru Campbell (another Cass Tech kid) also visited and enjoyed it, he will also be visiting again soon.

If Green decides to commit before Isaac, will Hoke pull the trigger or wait? What's your best guess? Also, I wouldn't be surprised to see Duke's move to TE, especially if he gains some weight. What are your thoughts?

Nobody is a lock but I feel pretty good about our chances with Poggi.

As far as the running back situation goes I am fine with either Isaac or Green. I think Isaac is the more likely of the two to commit to Michigan.

Green isn't deciding until very late in the process. Isaac is visiting USC this weekend and could (I stress could and not will) decide shortly after.

Dukes is a WR all the way.

I don't think they will move him. Still have Funchess, Williams, Butt, and Hill.

True, but they were looking to take Orndroff. I'm just saying, I wouldn't be surprised.

On another note, what is Gedeon waiting on? Is he taking more visits? I know this is a once in a life time experience, but we seem to be turning guys away for a recruit whose not willing to pull the trigger. This makes me nervous.

Well, what if Green changes his mind, and decides to pull the trigger before Isaac. Then what?

On another note, I think Poggi will be Blue. If we get Poggi and Webb I would jump for joy. Because of Hokes policy of no visits once you commit, I don't blame Ty for holding off. I just think he feels an obligation to himself to see what USC has to offer. After the visit I hope he will go Blue. I can see him waiting until the spring game to join a host of other commits. We'll see.

Poggi is a stud.

Out of the 21 prospects Texas has offered (13 commits), the only three outside of Texas are Su'a Cravens, Von Bell and Henry Poggi.

Poggi/Webb would be a perfect finish to DL recruiting.

Green isn't changing his timeline. He has several visits planned already. He is already starting to map out official visits, etc. If for some reason Green is changing his timeline, it wouldn't change to where his decision would be before Isaac's decision.

You are correct. Started as a freshman last year after their starting QB went down. He will be a sophomore this year.
