Michigan gets to face Utah on a Thursday night. First time ever they will ever play on a Thursday!
I love it when big time programs play on The week night games |
Yeah, we just announced our non-conference schedules for the next couple years.
Home and Home with Utah (playing @ Utah on Thursday will certainly be interesting - as you mentioned)
We will also play Oregon State, UNLV, and Colorado all at home (not sure on exact years).
We are also taking a 2 year break from the ND series in 2018-19.
Nothing amazing, but better than multiple MAC type opponents. _________________

I agree it is a nice change of pace. I loved the game against Marshall on Thursday _________________

| 2014 WR Drake Harris is announcing tonight between MSU, UM, and Notre Dame. All three schools have obviously offered football scholarships but UM has not offered a basketball scholarship. I would be shocked if he didn't pick MSU. |

Only surprise is that he is announcing this early. As of a week or two ago he wasn't even sure what sport he wanted to play (or both) now he is announcing his college decision. Oh well, I'll be rooting for him for various reasons, though obviously not against us. Hopefully he doesn't turn out like other FB/BB guys at MSU aka didn't do anything in either sport (i.e. Sims, Smith). _________________

He has 1 year left and hasn't done a thing in basketball (don't think he even plays anymore) and has 1 year left in football where he hasn't done anything yet either. Even if he does decent this year, he will have been a bust. Fred Smith is clearly a bust, doing nothing in either sport. Like I said, hopefully Harris doesn't wind up the same way. _________________

Sims was a bust because of being kicked off the team for a year because of him knowing about his cousin stealing computers. When he was gone, a couple TEs stepped up for MSU and he was buried on the DC. He should be the starter this year and has been talked about as a breakout player in the big 10. Especially since he is about the only returning pass catcher on the team.
As for Harris, I don't see him playing both sports for more than 2 years. I personally think he should stick to hoops. He likely will be redshirted in football since MSU has a large amount of young WR who will be upperclassmen when he gets here. _________________

Really?
I'll preface this by saying he should do what ever will make him happy and that I haven't seen him play basketball before, but the odds of an athletic 6'3/6'4 WR making the NFL is greater than a 6'3/6'4 SG in the NBA. That and he is a really good WR prospect. _________________

Sims is in the best position to continue to salvage his career, if he continues his progress, he will definitely be drafted somewhere. I see him in the same exact mold of Kellen Davis _________________ Murray State University Alum: Go Racers

Treadwell said he is moving up his commit timeline and could commit to Michigan as early as today.

| I love David Dawson. Go Blue! IMO, there not a team out there with more class than team 134. All the guys who had a chance to be part of this class and passed are going to be sorry. |

Two of your players released a music video. Really is pretty good.

I played against Joe Reynolds in high school and heard he was pretty talented musically too. The first comment had me laughing. _________________ Life is like an item box: you never know what you're gonna get.....unless you're in last place, then you will probably get lightning
