Probably either the better schools afraid of getting losses, or a lesser school afraid of more losses. _________________

Half of our teams already take an extra loss. We need to go back to 8 conference games before we do this scheduling agreement. _________________

Washington will start the season 2-4 or 1-5. Their schedule is brutal. They're not good yet. _________________

USC vs. Big Ten
2011: vs. Minnesota 19-17 W
2010: @ Minnesota 32-21 W
2009: @ #8 Ohio State 18-15 W
2008: vs. #5 Ohio State 35-3 W
vs. #8 Penn State 38-24 W
2007: vs. Illinois 49-17 W
2006: vs. Michigan 32-18 W
2003: vs. Michigan 28-14 W
2002: vs. Iowa 38-17 W
Because its not like USC is 9-0 vs. the Big Ten over the past decade or anything... Or that their average margin of victory in those games is 16 points either...

Since when is Washington good?
Sure they appear to be on the rise now, but acting like they will be good then is presumptuous, they haven't even had a good year yet.
Internet scuttlebutt (I know, I know, probably completely unreliable) suggests USC may have been one of the teams that didn't want it. Allegedly didn't want 9 conference games + ND + Big Ten team on the schedule. _________________

Well that's too bad. Could have been fun.
Nebraska just did their home and home with Washington. Have UCLA the next two years. Would have been nice to add some more big name schools down the road. We have Miami and Tennessee in a few years, but I always love these big out-of-conference match-ups. Oregon could have been fun. Wouldn't have surprised me to see Colorado, considering the previous rivalry. _________________

Big Ten >>> | They played Nebraska a couple of times a few years again when we were still in the Big XII. But, to be fair, that was when Bill Callahan was our coach, so those games really shouldn't count. _________________

Anyone else find this funny?
USC does very well against good Michigan, OSU, PSU teams and even good Illinois and Iowa teams, but struggles against crappy Minnesota teams.
