Might not really apply to this thread, but since I was reading about him, has anyone heard of a kid named Gedion Zelalem who is Ethiopian/German from the US and played in Olney, MD? He's not 16 yet, but is in Arsenal's academy (he'll reportedly be signing a professional contract in the coming months with AFC)
I'm assuming he's at least got dual citizenship.. the only reason I ask is because a lot of the Arsenal reserve players claim he is the "real deal".. also it's a kid who played youth ball like 20 minutes away from my house, although I don't really follow any local players, Olney is a pretty good youth program.
Edit: just read he's a German citizen but applying for a US Passport -- makes sense if Jergen is on the case.
