Fantastic news. Although he'll probably just be a late sub. Can't see him jumping Cherundolo already.

He's probably going to play. Both Cherundolo and Fabian have recently picked up knocks.

Quote:
#USMNT lineup for #USAvCAN: S. Johnson; Beltran, Gonzalez, Besler, Morrow; Beckerman , Zusi, Davis, Evans; Wondolowski, E. Johnson

Pretty boring lineup other than the centerbacks.

Quote:
#USMNT Subs: Hamid, Morales, Bedoya, Agudelo, Gatt, Feilhaber, Bruin #USAvCAN

Subs bench is filled with potential.

And why is Evans starting? That guy is so average, rather see Gatt, Bedoya or even Feilhaber

Jurgen's clearly going the veteran route. That midfield has no imagination though.

Poor mix. No idea why Klinsmann doesn't like him, unless he is hurt of course.

Might not really apply to this thread, but since I was reading about him, has anyone heard of a kid named Gedion Zelalem who is Ethiopian/German from the US and played in Olney, MD? He's not 16 yet, but is in Arsenal's academy (he'll reportedly be signing a professional contract in the coming months with AFC)

I'm assuming he's at least got dual citizenship.. the only reason I ask is because a lot of the Arsenal reserve players claim he is the "real deal".. also it's a kid who played youth ball like 20 minutes away from my house, although I don't really follow any local players, Olney is a pretty good youth program.

Edit: just read he's a German citizen but applying for a US Passport -- makes sense if Jergen is on the case.

So this is what it looks like when Kyle Beckerman is the best player on the pitch...

We should be owning this team, they just lost 0-4 to Denmark and its basically a low-level MLS team

We're basically a low level MLS team. Look at this lineup.
