Ugly...Again why do we need 2 holding mids against Canada B team. Get Evans or Beckerman out for Feilhaber/Bedoya, bring on Gatt, and Bruin/Agudelo for Wondo

Beckerman's the only guy out there who looked like he could play in qualifiers. Maybe Eddie, but he needs better players around him. Hard to say on Omar. I don't see much difference between Parkhurst and Besler.

Besler is bigger and wont get bullied by bigger strikers like Parkhurst, but yeah we dont even get to see the CBs get tested, this has been a worthless game

Bedoya, Benny, and Beckerman were the only positive spots of this 2 hour waste of time.

Last night was truly 2 hours of trash. No creativity, no chance to gauge the defense, nothing.
The two best players on the pitch IMO both played for the Canadiens, DeRo and Jakovic.
None of these guys deserve and real minutes in a competitive qualifying game.

Yeah, that was an awful game.
Gatt showed flashes of skill but no football IQ. Morales was the opposite on the field, seemed to have good vision and feel for the game but absolutely no touch. Benny provided a spark but kept overhitting on the through-balls. I was surprised to see Mixx not get a chance, but he wasn't even in uniform, possibly an injury issue rather than a deliberate snub on Klinsmann's part?
In other news, I read recently that John Anthony Brooks has accepted a call-up to the German U-20 team. Huge blow if we do lose him to Germany.

He's accepted multiple callups to the German U-20's. But Germany's U-20's are like our U-18's (prospects not good enough for the U.S. U-20 and Germany's U-21).
Should we qualify, expect Brooks to be on the U-20 U.S. World Cup squad.

Read that Mix didn't have the "grit" Klinsmann wanted.
I think EJ, Zusi, Beckerman, and Omar will be in the Honduras squad.
