Didn't want to get threaded (threaded?) so I started the next one.

Yea it is a great show, but I didn't realize how good it was until like a year or two ago, so when I was watching on Netflix to catch up I loved it but got bored by the end of the 3rd season. Not bored necessarily, I enjoyed pretty much every episode, but its tough for such an episodic show to keep my interest enough to keep clicking next on Netflix.

Also as a NYer there's a lot of jokes I feel like most people who aren't extremely familiar with the city wouldn't get. Same with Men in Black.

You should go back and watch it through. It's like Arrested Development, there are a lot of jokes you won't catch until like the 5th runthrough.

Anyways, I just watched the pilot of Homeland. I liked it. I was hesitant about this show, because I didn't know how believable they'd make the "American soldier turned terrorist" plot, but I like the direction they took it. It's seems that Brody hasn't so much as been turned as just mentally broken and brainwashed. My hope is that they keep his character sympathetic.

I gotta finish up House of Cards yet, but Homeland is next. I gotta finish Season 5 of The Wire yet too.

GO!

I've watched the first 3 seasons of 30 Rock a bunch on Netflix. Love it each time. It definitely fell off a little bit after the third season, but I still really liked it. I haven't watched any of the last season though because I rarely watch TV when it's new.

30 Rock never really fell off, some seasons are just a little weaker (being 4 and 6). 4 drops off a little bit, but 5 comes back in a big way. Same with 6 to 7.

Although I think every season has its classics.

Jericho FTW! Second time watching it on Netflix. Love the journey but hate knowing it ends way to early.

fell = permanent
drop = temporary

I the only one who thinks that?

About to start the 3rd episode of season 3 of Six Feet Under.

The second season finale was just so damn good.

GO!

I was able to blow through AD easily, but that had much more of an overarching narrative throughout each of the seasons. 30 Rock does have plenty of continuing storylines, but it gets pretty repetitive. I'm sure I'll get around to getting through it at some point, I just can't watch like 5 in a row each day like I did with AD.

And enjoy the end to the Wire. The 5th season does have a noticeable change in tone and drop off in quality, but the last two episodes are some of the best they ever did.

I honestly think Shameless is one of my top 3 shows on TV. Gets better and better with each episode, imo.

Boardwalk, Breaking Bad and Shameless.

Yea the last few episodes have been real funny. Much better than the last few episodes of the first season.

And I just finished watching season 4 of the Simpsons. It's been years since I've seen any of the classic Simpsons, so its been a real treat to see the show when it was getting into its prime.

4 episodes into season 2 of the Walking Dead. It's gone a bit stale IMO.

I'm gonna power through though.
