| If I am the Magic, the ONLY way I deal Dwight to the Lakers is for Bynum-Gasol and Odom....and L.A. would have to take back BOTH Hedu and Gilbert Arenas...Period. Otherwise no Dwight to the Lakers. |

Bob Vander Weid drunk dialed Dwight last night and is resigning today, hoping that this doesn't effect Dwight.

+1, except for Odom, they can keep him. I'd rather have Shannon Brown. _________________

The deal could not happen with Brown...doesn't make enough money. Plus Odom has trade value to another team. Orlando could easily re-move all three of those players from the Lakers to gain future assets. Like Gasol to the Clippers for the expiring deals of Kaman and Ryan Gomes + the Minny 1st round pick next year, and a additional Clipper 1st round pick in 2014. Then offer up Bynum to his Home town team the Nets for Brook Lopez, the Nets 1st rounder in 2012 and 2014. And then say offer up Lamar Odom to Memphis...who could use his experience and tough rebounding for say SG OJ Mayo.
That way the Magic will have a TON of immediate and future 1st rounders to use. While having the expiring deals of both Kaman and Gomes to free up Cap space after this season. As well as a young athletic SG in Mayo. But in order to send out all three of Dwight, Hedu and Arenas, the Lakers would HAVE to Include Odom in the deal along with Bynum and Gasol. Cause if it were just Bynum and say Odom for Dwight and Hedu...it wouldn't be worth it to Orlando if they still had Arenas on their roster. |

I doubt those 2nd round of trades could get done. I'd rather trade Dwight to the Nets while they also take on Hedo's contract (while giving us 2 1st rounders) so we can also get rid of Gil via amnesty. Those picks are much more flexible trade wise and can also help us if we don't get rid of them. _________________

But why would you want multiple firsts from a team bound to be in the playoffs? Lets be real, after the first 8-10 picks, there really isn't anything left at the end of the day. _________________

If Dwight goes to the lakers I'll stop watching basketball. The NBA divas are really starting to [inappropriate/removed] me off. Hate how the NBA is becoming. _________________

The 2 1st round picks from the Lakers with Dwight and Kobe are going to around #29. [inappropriate/removed] that [inappropriate/removed]. _________________

To be completely honest, I'd try and trade Dwight to the Clippers. I'd take Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan, and Minnisota's unprotected 1st in heartbeat but could definitely live if we got Eric Gordon, Aminu/Bledsoe, DeAndre Jordan and Minnisota's 1st (would try for Aminu and Bledsoe or try to unload Turk's contract.) _________________

A trade involving Blake would be one of the very few that wouldn't break my heart. Griffen, Westbrook and a first in a three team trade would be good, but there just isn't enough leverage on Orlando's side. I'm pretty sure Westbrook wants out of Oklahoma City and he'd pair very nicely with Blake if Dwight is insistent on Shaqing us. _________________

There's almost no chance of us getting Blake, yet alone Blake and Westbrook and a 1st. _________________
