so what seed do you think you guys will get this year?

Definitely bottom 10. If we're worse than 6 or so, the top pick is guaranteed.

I'm hoping you guys do get the top pick. You guys need it now.

I wouldn't mind the top pick this year it could turn out to be Shabazz or Mitchell but I would love that pick in a year which would be Wiggins.

It kinda is what it is. But I'm glad we have finally moved on. Sadly Dwight's actions over this year severely limited our options but I do think Hennigan made the best move he could. Nets, Hawks, Mavs, Lakers, and Rockets were the only teams with any real interest in Howard..... and with ATL not seeming that aggressive, Dallas having nothing to offer, and unless you want to overpay Brook Lopez for four years there is really nothing those teams can do for you. Limiting things to Houston and LA.

The Rockets seemed intent on only moving one rookie (and probably not Lamb) and I don't think a package without Lamb beats what we got.

-Harkless was a lottery talent and from what I've heard the Magic were really high on him around draft night, lots of potential but still a raw player. I've seen a decent amount of him, definitely a fan of his hopefully it turns out.

-Affalo is better than JJ. He's a solid starter in this league and a great role player. Young and we got him locked up.

-Like Vuecic, 7 footer with some offensive game..... those don't grow on trees. Not super tough or a good athlete, think he's a good backup C in this league.

-Harrington is solid but don't get the point if we are tanking anyway to take on his contract, think he peaked last season. McRoberts/Eyenga are fillers.

-5 draft picks/huge TPE.

not bad. we'll definitely have a high pick for a couple years. happy to say we are rebuilding.

Can someone tell me how Afflalo is young to me, I am confused on this notion.

He's 26 now and 27 and the start of the season. Maybe not real young, but certainly not old. I'd consider him entering his prime this season and that lasting another 4 seasons. He's certainly young enough to mature with a few top picks the next two years.

Let's hope the Magic don't miss on those top picks.

You know we will, unless there is a legit big man coming out, we wont get the #1 pick and will overdraft another JJR.

I don't really trust Henny and the upper staff with trades but I do trust Henny and his staff on scouting and drafting. This is were I think he is going to really show why he has the stuff to be a GM. I doubt we will be making many more trades and just start to build through the draft.

I'm hearing that Maurice Harkless growth plate haven't closed and that he may still grow and couple inches has anyone else heard this?

Its not trolling because it's true lol..
Anyhow, I'm not about that. But damm
the Nets offer stands better at this point.
I was a huge fan of Affalo in UCLA..
And Hibberts contract is front loaded
giving the pacers crazy flex later. Danny's
contract will be up when there will be crazy
talent on the board. However you look at it
the pacers now and 5 years from now look
way better than then Magic.

Moe, Nicholson and Vucvic gain experiance and get good and we have 2 high draft picks 13 and 14. Then that summer in 2014 we make big moves with our 30 mill under cap in salary.

Boom 2 years of suffering than dynasty Cool

What they mean is that Affalos game won't grow anymore. He has reached his peak.

This. He's not necessarily young like you claim but he's obviously not old, he is at his peak at middle of career. Its different in sports term "young"

What I consider young is several years off rookie with greater amount of potential

Not to mention if the magic are incredibly lucky they will be a young talented team in two years. By then he is pushing thirty and thats if everything falls the magic's way. They don't need players currently in their prime. That will only help them win a few extra meaningless games. Not to mention Afflalo's prime is a solid 3rd/4th option on offensive and a fairly good perimeter defender (assuming last year was an anomaly for him defensively).
