Being the fourth best QB in a division with Rodgers, Stafford, and Cutler in it in your second season really isn't anything to be ashamed about. Ponder's problem is that his ceiling is probably below Stafford, Rodgers, and Cutler's level right now. |

I think his ceiling may be pretty much the same as Cutler's.
Agree with what you said though, 4th best in this division can still be a decent QB. |

I think it depends on how you figure Cutler's ceiling. Cutler has some, shall we call them, "personality issues" that probably aren't fixable that hold him back, but from where I sit Cutler's a much better arm talent than Ponder. Decision-making is likely a wash. |

Just read some of the Anti-Packer comments.
Child Please. |
Just read the whole thread. There was one attempt at trolling (GJ is lazy) and one guy who thought the defense sucks. Other than that the Packers were hardly mentioned at all. Hardly complain worthy. _________________

No, there's no shame in being the 4th best QB in a division that features Rodgers, Stafford, and Cutler. It just means that in a quarterback-driven league, you're probably a 4th place team.
If you want to widen it to include the entire NFC, Ponder is also probably behind Brees and Eli Manning. I believe that a few others out of the group of RGIII, Romo, Smith, Flynn, Vick, Newton and Ryan are also better than Ponder.
Which makes Ponder.........mediocre, by NFC standards, and poor, by NFC North standards. I'm not sure why people get excited about him.

I spent quite a bit of time laughing my keister off at this. I would encourage everyone to read the comments, all the way to the end. I thought I was going to bust a gut.
Made twice as funny because the author is a Viking fan, as are many of the people who made comments. |

That should be required reading for ALL Vikings fans. You can do the smart thing and root for Green Bay, or you can join us.....others. |

So the first team offense/special teams of the bears looked terrible.
Awesome. _________________

That was fantastic.

You could write a rant like his on every single team in the NFL. _________________

You're implying that every team in the league has the same fanbase and it use to losing over the years.
So, no, you couldn't. _________________

Either way, it needs to be taken worth a grain of salt. It's a Vikings fan writer talking bad about his own team. Hell, I found the one about the Packers comical. _________________
