Not buying that for a second. His movement is good but I watched Rio deal with Torres going in and out all game long. He bites on the in move and then literally stands still. He has plenty of time to recover and could have dealt with it but is caught ball watching yet again.

But the difference is the situation in which the cross was coming in. Other than the 2nd Chelsea goal, United didn't give up free crosses at all. Hernandez knew that Giggs was going to get a free cross because of all the time he had, and he made a double move that no CB in the world could have tracked unless they got physical with Hernandez and risked giving a penalty away. My only criticism would be that if you are going to lose your man, I think you should always let him behind you rather than in front of you. That way, the cross has to make it over your head to reach your man. If you let your man in front of you, it makes the cross much easier.

Still, I really don't blame Luiz at all. Lots of space in a 1v1 matchup + classic Centre Forward movement = almost impossible to stop.

But if anything Hernandez goes slightly early and is almost waiting for the ball to arrive. To me Luiz should be on him and forcing a harder header (which Hernandez may have missed, as he actually nods the goal straight at Cech).

Allen said he would play the hot hand, in what world is McFadden's hand hot?

He touched Dennis Allen's seat before the game.

When I hear the word bail, the first thing that comes to mind is Gareth Bale. Sorry Lee, Spurs it is.

I've decided to make a thread tomorrow with a poll since apparently everybody wants me to root for their team. See who wants me more. Feel free to give arguments as to why I should pick your team as well.

I actually don't care at all. Go for Spurs, they would be pretty brilliant on a consistent basis.

I'm pulling for Liverpool. I think we could still have a shot to overtake Spurs for 3rd. It's kinda of a long shot though. We couldn't we close it out yesterday Sad

I have a very arrogant friend who is a Chelsea fan...I just can't root for them. I like Mata a little though.
