He rarely goes off injured, although he rarely starts, due to injury |
Ok fine.
I think we need a 3rd CB. King will get injured during training.

I sort of want to troll and pick someone atypical, so I'm going to go with West Brom's Gareth McAuley. _________________

That's a good shout. Throwing LB's together now.. the obvious ones spring to mind in Patrice Evra, Jose Enrique, Leighton Baines, Ashley Cole, but I know there should be a few under the radar guys who have done admirably. I'll put a poll up a bit later this evening but feel free to nominate a few names if you'd like although I think Baines or Evra will take this one. _________________

Evra has been horrible this season, it should be Enrique imo. Ekotto has been pretty good as well though imo. _________________

Forgot about him. Evra has made Garth Crook's team of the week a lot on BBC but I think a lot of times a Big 4 team makes that spot by default if no one does something amazing to otherwise deserve it. _________________

Evra.....
Anyone who elects him to anything should be banished from this forum. _________________

The only two LBs I'd add to the list would be Gael Clichy (enough games to qualify?) and Stephen Warnock. Warnock really hasn't been horrid this year. _________________

I think Kolarov has been pretty decent for City, Assou-Ekotto would be up there as well. _________________

I was thinking about Clichy as well, I think he's played enough. I know Kolarov fell out of favor to Clichy pretty quick early in the season and plays more in the midfield now. _________________

Yeah Evra's been terrible lol.
I'd probably go with Enrique or Baines for LB. _________________

I might just be pessimistic, but none of the LBs on our roster deserve nominations. _________________

| Liverpool have conceded just 8 goals in the 17 Premier League games that Daniel Agger has started, start to finish. Though if you want to be exact, it's 9 goals in 18 starts factoring in his leaving the game against Spurs after the first goal was scored. He's been the best defender on what has been the best defense in the Premier League this season, or at least at the moment joint tops with Man United. |

For LB the candidates should be:
Jose Enrique
Benoit Assou-Ekotto
Leighton Baines
IMO. No one else has been good enough for consideration. _________________
