I need suggestions for how to do the rest of the team. Kempus suggested position by position, however due to the various formations played 4-4-2, 4-4-3, 4-2-3-1 etc. a lot of players qualify for multiple positions so it becomes a bit of a headache, not to mention in some formations wingers are considered midfielders... Any suggestions welcome or I will just select the other 2 spots based on a single position: Midfielder #2 & #3.
Team so far:
GK: Michael Vorm, Swansea City AFC
LB: José Enrique, Liverpool FC
CB: Ledley King, Tottenham Hotspur
CB: Vincent Kompay, Manchester City
RB: Micah Richards, Manchester City

- This is based on THIS SEASON ONLY August through December English Premier League matches. Not Champions, Europa League, Carling Cup etc. So use your head.. don't just vote for the names you recognize (if that's the case just don't vote)
- Must have played in a minimum of 10 EPL games (That will be apparent in the selections) However, OTHER will be an option, so write the name in if you chose other.
-Current injured players are eligible as long as they've played in 10 games regardless of how long they're ruled out.
Yaya Toure*, Manchester City
Gareth Barry, Manchester City
Phil Jones*, Manchester United
Scot Parker, Tottenham Hotspur
Alex Song, Arsenal
Lucas Leiva, Liverpool
Oriol Romeu, Chelsea
Jack Rodwell, Everton
(* denotes player qualifies for multiple positions) _________________

This year Lucas has been absolutely phenomenal, and just remember he had to suffer playing alongside Charlie Adam making him effectively the only CM in our 4-4-2. _________________

This one is tough one. Yaya does so much, but off this season alone Barry has been the better DM. _________________

There's a lot of quality DM's in the league this season. I'll have to go with Lucas, he was absolutely outstanding. _________________

I voted for Lucas. If I can find the graphic I'll post it, but statistically, Song and Yaya have been the best in attack -- providing more goals, assists and successful through-balls, but they transition with other deep-lying mid's.
Defensively, Lucas and Parker have been the best, in terms of successful tackles, interceptions and clearances. _________________

I voted Lucas, Yaya Parker and Song deserve consideration as well. Next year, Romeu will be up there. _________________

Parker. I assume Tiote will be in the midfielder vote then? _________________

He hasn't been that good this year. _________________

Forgot about him.. kinda rushed this as I was working on my playoff fantasy cheat sheet for an in-person draft tonight. If you want to write Tiote in, you can, but he'll also be on another poll, yes. _________________

My vote would be for Parker whether Tiote was there or not. I just expected to see him here is all.
In terms of being a defensive mid, I'd easily take Parker over anybody this season. Lucas would definitely be in this team as a CM for me though. _________________

Why does Lucas have twice the number of votes that Parker does? Man, you guys make some ridiculously perplexing decisons in here. _________________

Because we aren't voting for Spurs players? If this was your team it'd just be all Spurs players. _________________

Parker should be the DM and Lucas should get one of the CM spots. Makes more sense. _________________
