Boom. |
But at the same time, that leaves out people who aren't defensive midfielders, but aren't attacking mids.
Quite the conundrum. | I guess you could do a 4-4-2 with Parker taking one of the CM spots and have the attacking midfielders being a poll with wingers. |
True but then I feel like it'd be kind of a shoe in for the remaining four spots (Silva, Mata, Ba, Van Persie) Which makes me wonder if I should stop now since the back 4 was probably the hardest part to objectively pick for myself |
The only ones of those I'd say would be a definite shoe-in are RVP and Silva. | Ba is absolutely in IMO. He has been phenomenal and if anyone got in over him it would be an absolute travesty.
I think Mata and Bale for a winger spot would be a very close poll. |
Indeed. I think I'd take Mata in that instance but it's very close. Bale to me is a one trick pony. He's a god at performing that trick, but Mata can play anywhere in the front four, and his passing is much more polished. |
Why am I not surprised _________________

Because Mata is the better player? _________________

I'm not that biased. I had no problem voting for King, and if Parker is in contention for the second CM spot, I'll vote for him. But I truly believe Mata is the better player, and is more valuable to his team. _________________

In no way is he the better player, but we should leave this for the actual thread where its going to be discussed. _________________
