Lucas played in 12 EPL games, over 60%, therefore was eligible for the 1st half of the season team. I voted for Parker in that poll and Lucas got a lot of votes, so I'd imagine from more than just Liverpool supporters. _________________

Remove Nani and insert Mata and this statement is correct. _________________

Silva shouldn't be considered with Bale, they are completely different players. Bale is an orthodox winger, Silva plays as a CAM. Mata is closer to Silva than Bale position and role wise. _________________

I'm so insanely drunk, so I'm going to relpy in the morning. Either way. Bale is one Billion times better than Mata. _________________

Yohan and Scott Parker, although Parker should have been the DM over Lucas. _________________

Ruined....
Perhaps one billion was a slight exageration, but there is absolutely no question that Bale is a better LW than Mata. As Rox said, he is more of an AM like Silva. _________________

He shouldn't. Lucas effectively played as 2 CM's with how invisible Charlie Adam is when it comes to anything 4-4-2 and how technically embarassing Jay Spearing is at anything other than rash tackles. Lucas has been brilliant, it's just people think he's the same laughable player he once was.
That said I do actually agree with kempus when it comes to Bale, it would be a travesty if Bale doesn't make it. _________________
