Didn't notice him or I definitely would have. _________________

Mata, Silva, Bale, and Sturridge are all deserving IMO. _________________

I mean it took me by surprise that Lucas made it over Parker, but it didn't surprise me that in the Mid poll Yaya Toure beat Parker by 3-4 votes.
Toure would be the biggest snub of all if I'm honest but I'm considering including him and going 4-3-3.. Midfield of Lucas, Cabaye, Toure (fairly defensive but a lot of creativity in attack) but then someone might get butt-hurt if their favorite striker (me if RVP doesn't make it ) doesn't get in.
It's just one of those things; all feelings aside in football. _________________

How can you vote for Mata over Silva? That is pure homer.... _________________

I'll cop to that. I'm an unabashed USMNT homer. _________________

Not really. If City play that 4-3-3/4-5-1 hybrid, Toure actually plays from the deepest of the 3 Central Midfield players. That way, he is the player to take the ball from the back 4 and distribute, just like Fergie has Michael Carrick do in the same formation. If City play 4-4-2 (now common at home, adjustment this year by Mancini) then both Barry and Toure tend to play relatively deep because David Silva has little/no defensive responsibilities with his free role so both Barry and Toure are required to cover for him. Sometimes he does play a balanced role, in that he wouldn't be considered either a DMC or AMC, but he actually plays the vast majority of his Football from a deep position.
As for the thread - assuming this is a 4-4-2, Silva right wing & Bale left wing. Jobs a good one! _________________ 20 TIMES, 20 TIMES MAN UNITTTTTEEDDD
