| Quote: | Sky Sports understands Neil Warnock has left his role as manager of Queens Park Rangers.
Speculation over Warnock's future has been growing for the last few days after owner Tony Fernandes revealed on Twitter no job was safe at Loftus Road. |

I'm definitely surprised by this, they obviously want a higher profile manager. Rumour is that they are after Hughes. What kind of impact could this have on the transfer window with the new manager presumable being given a reasonable transfer kitty? _________________

That's rubbish for Warnock.
Can see him going to a Championship side and bring them up to the Premiership _________________

Feel sorry for Warnock, he hasn't been bad this season. Don't think he deserves a sacking. _________________

Their were rumours hed get the bullet in the summer...its obvious they didnt really want him long term....
I guess their not happy, but the timings a bit odd unless they have a replacement all lined up to come in straight away to get dealing in the January transfer window. _________________

I assume they have Hughes or someone similar lined up and saw this as the perfect time as he still has 3 weeks to get his guys in. _________________

I despise Warnock, and do think QPR would be in a relegation fight come the end of the season. But based on results so far it's an odd decision. Poor ownership in the Prem again. _________________

Exactly, unless Warnock had QPR knocking on the top 6 i think he was a dead man walking....they have money to spend, and i believe they always wanted a bigger name manager... Hughes would be a good candidate. Though he left Fulham as he wanted to challenge for titles....so if he did go to QPR thats a bit two faced really... _________________

Mark Hughes is the man I'd expect to come in. If he rejects them though they are in a world of trouble IMO. In virtual free-fall. _________________

Make your decision early. Seems like the Hodgson hire last season. Team was slumping a bit and there was a decent PL manager out there that is better. Pull the trigger. _________________

"Mark played at Man United, Barca and Bayern Munich and has ambitions to manage at that level".
Thats his agent today. Pretty much a no to QPR? _________________

Youd think so, but Hughes needs to get back into management he wont just be given a top job for being out of work for umpteen seasons....
QPR with a bit of money he could build into a top 10 team, and then have that on his CV. _________________
