I gotta say, the Forgotten Vale is easily one of the best parts of the DLC. One of my favorite locations in the game, along with Blackreach (and I feel like the Forgotten Vale has more rewarding loot). _________________

I just ran into this Kvenel the Tongue character. He has kicked my butt about 6 times in a row. I'm going to come back when I'm at a higher level. _________________

Ughhhh I HATE smithing after 1.5. Its way to expensive and time consuming. I'm transmuting ore right now, and turning it into gold rings, but its still taking too long. I just want my dragonbone weapons... _________________

95 smithing....
almost there. I think I figured out the fastest way though: Dwarven Bows
Just run through a big dwarven ruin, bring a follower, and then grab ALL the dwarven metal you can (anything that says bent, small, large, solid), make sure you give some to your follower so you can leave with more metal. I come out of most dwarven ruins with close to 50 dwarven ingots, then all you need is iron for the bows.
So far the fastest way I know of, dwarven bows are the closest thing to pre-1.5 iron daggers _________________

Use gems you find to make better rings. |

When leveling up Smithing, does it matter? And if you enchant them they're worth quite a bit more. Two skills at once.
Just like buying an increase and pickpocketing the money back. _________________

Do you not know about the update? Your smithing levels up based on the value of what you made.
but speaking of which, just got to 100. _________________

I did not. Heh.
I don't get fancy updates and such. _________________

Yes, I was foolish enough to believe Dawnguard/patch 1.6 and 1.7 would be available for the PS3 today or very soon. _________________

yeah a buddy of mine has been waiting for the PS3 dawnguard super anxiously. I thought it was just supposed to be a 30-day delay? _________________

Here is a good topic: Awesome side quests that are easy to miss. I've done most of them, but I'm looking for things to do on my lvl 41, so its worth shouting out.
A good example of such a quest I found was "Rise in the East", I never did that quest until my most recent playthrough, but its pretty cool. You get to go along on a boatride to raid a pirate island with a bunch of soldiers. _________________
