Look at that. The new rumors are Diggs is leaning towards Maryland. No one knows where this kid is going.

Exactly. The kid was always difficult to get a read on as far as what school (of his favorites) he was leaning towards. He was "leaning" towards Florida, Auburn, OSU, Cal all at one point and now it appears it is Maryland. I may be forgetting someone as well.

I think when it comes down to it you have to assume that Ohio State is the favorite for Diggs because it comes down to they have a lot of things that he likes.

Spread Offense
Great Academics
Relatively close to home
Great Tradition

I think it comes down to Ohio State, UF, and Maryland I see OSU for him but yeah Davonte Neal it was basically said a long time ago that Meyer pulled the offer.

He wants to play in a pro style offense. Gators have all that besides relatively close to home(which doesn't matter because you are in Ohio.)

Will they have an open competition at QB? I would think Driskel has the better potential as a passer which WR recruits would like. Brissett (is that his name?) is more of a dual threat guy right?

Brissett was more of Weis guy. I think we will see a lot more of Driskel this year.I'm just glad that scrub named Brantley is gone.

Actually no Brizy(JB) doesn't have the speed or run power the Drizy(JD) does. The thing that JB has is poise in the pocket compared to JD. JD has the stronger arm but had the deer in the head lights when he was out there last year.

Urb is selling him on slow big 10 defenses. Kid will be a Gator, he wants to compete against the best of the best of the best.

I dont see all the hate for locking the thread its not like much else is going on.

But I think it'll go like this

Neal-Arizona

Diggs-OSU

And thats not just the homer in me, but Ohio State is really beginning to build something special this year. And I think that Diggs wants to play for Urban more than he wants to play for Muschamp. He could be the focal point of a offense with a very good up and coming QB like B.Miller or he could go to Florida and be another guy in the SEC. Diggs has said he wants to be a star and hes going to be a bigger star dominating the Big Ten then he would be in the SEC.

OSU admitted 62% of their applicants in 2010.

Student profiles:
25-75 ACT score:
OSU 25-30
UF 25-30
Maryland NA-NA

Maryland's ACT composite wasn't available, but boasts a higher SAT 25-75 than OSU by 60-40 points out of the traditional 1600. Further, its acceptance rate is 17% lower (45% to 62%).

OSU has a nice grad program, but as far as undergrad it's not exactly Harvard and is no better than the other 2 schools you mention. It might actually be worse.
