He will get both of those. If his head is on straight and he's in good health, he will get those two quickly. At this stage, he represents the lowest risk and the biggest reward - he's going to come at league minimum, just because he's got baggage, but the possibility of Moss finding his old groove is well worth that.

Honestly, I wouldn't scoff at bringing him in to play the #2 WR in Houston. I highly doubt it, but if he did...man, I'd be stoked.

Randy Moss and Andre Johnson?

Ill take "QBs wet dream 5 years ago for 1000, Alex"

Laughing

Pretty much. Laughing

I wonder how he will do.

Not sure if he would contribute a great deal to a team. He seems past his prime. Maybe a team with a great QB could use him but he wasn't a factor with the titans or the Vikings.

Why does everyone always think old receivers can make a comeback on new teams? It didn't happen with TO, its no happening with Ocho, and its not going to happen with Moss either.

Meh, couldn't hurt for a team to give him a chance I guess.

New Bears front office.
Jay Cutler has a big arm.
Chicago needs WRs.
Draft Floyd in the 1st.
Sign Moss.

I wouldn't think Chicago would be a terrible fit for him.

Yes! I love Moss. One of my favorite players of all-time. Please sign him, Richardson! What I'd do to get him in Panther blue. A rejuvenated Moss and LaFell/Gettis on the outside, Smith in the slot, Olsen/Shockey at tight end, and Newton and a combination of either Stewart or Williams in the backfield? Nasty.

He actually lives around here too.

Haha omg how am I the only one who thinks that is funny? Imagine some shmoe playing DB in the IFL has to pick between covering Randy Moss or TO? lmao that would be so much fun to watch.

Well, as you said in another thread - It is the five year anniversary of the 2007 Patriots when he broke the TD record. Could you imagine Randy Moss at his best paired with Andre Johnson?

Moss is one of those receivers who I think could come back and provide a decent contribution to a team.

IF he puts the work in and tries of course.

http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/1655/randy-moss

Quote:
Citing a source close to Randy Moss, Yahoo Sports reports that the Eagles and Jets "are at least curious" about signing the free agent.

Quote:
Yahoo's Jason Cole also names the Patriots and 49ers as potential suitors

Quote:
We can say confidently that Moss will draw interest in free agency. The one-year, roughly $3 million deal Plaxico Burress played for in 2011 could be a reasonable starting point in contract talks
