In 2008, a little known cornerback from Tennessee State by the name of Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie cracked NFL Network analyst Mike Mayock's top five positional list after a strong showing at the Senior Bowl. A month later, he ran an officially 4.29 in Indianapolis and earned the number two spot on Mayock's board. He was eventually selected sixteenth overall by our Arizona Cardinals. The 2011 Scouting Combine. Ya, it matters.

As with the Senior Bowl, I will be posting all of the results that I find relevant. Please note the "I find relevant" statement(I don't think a 40 yard dash for a guard is relevant).

Couple things I'm looking forward to watching...

Not only Kendall Wright's 40 time, but how he's built. I've heard comparisons to DeShawn Jackson in terms of physical stature, but frankly I'd like him to be more of a Percy Harvin or even Steve Smith. Jackson is too frail for my liking.

Upshaw vs Ingram. It will be interesting to see which of these two monsters has a better day as both are workout freaks. I could see Ingram possibly having a better 40 time, but Upshaw looking better in drills.

How Mike Adams continues to build off of a strong Senoir Bowl. If he performs well in shorts, and looks impressive, you've got to think he's solidified himself as a top 15 pick.

Ingram should have made my top 8. Lots of guys needing big weeks, he's one of them.

Heard rumors about a quick 40 for him.

I like to see what Nate Potter comes in weighting as. He played about 300 pounds the last 2 years and will need to get bigger.

I like to see what Nate Potter domes in weighting as. He play about 300 pounds the last 2 years and will need to get bigger.

Matt Kali's another one. Huge day for him weight wise, Jonathan Martin too. A lot of tackle needing good weights.

Also, official draft day positions will be finalized this week. Not sure when the coin flips will take place exactly what it is sometime this week.

Seattle is one of the teams involved.

Upshaw vs Ingram. It will be interesting to see which of these two monsters has a better day as both are workout freaks. I could see Ingram possibly having a better 40 time, but Upshaw looking better in drills.

How about we just combine the two into one great player? FF thinks it's possible.

Quote:
13. Arizona - Courtney Ingram, OLB, Alabama
Ingram may not have the body of the typical 3-4 OLB with his short and stocky build, but he can really play. He draws the obvious comparisons to LaMarr Woodley, and the Cardinals would love it if he had that type of impact.

Big week for most all of them too. I highlighted Burfict and Osweiler but it's a huge week for Juron Criner as well.

They must have been stuck between two minds there haha. They changed it completely to Upshaw though.
