Agreed. I'm not getting a good feeling about re-signing Mathis, in which case I would like to know what their back-up plan is...

I just can't understand why we are "taking care of our own" while others are signing new FAs, and we somehow fail to take care of Mathis in that process. Confused

It's really hard to know what's going on.

If only we knew what the asking price was and what the Eagles were willing to pay...

It looks like it's a staring contest right now...

I think the Eagles might be signing a LB in FA and letting Mathis walk, and drafting a RT....Possibly Reily Reiff?

I know, but who else is there for us to go after? I don't see us making a play on an LB now. Its has to be the next step for us

Reiff would be awesome. But I'm not sure if I would rather have DeCastro and leave Todd at RT. DeCastro is going to be very very special.

Fletcher Cox Very Happy

Can't have too much depth on the D-line.

I'm guessing Cox and Big Dix could really get some serious penetration.

Well done. Laughing Laughing

Drew wants Evan's last payday to be big, he doesn't care from where or why, he doesn't care about winning, or consistency or anything.

The Eagles upped his game so much for one year, what's to say they can't do that with another unknown FA who we haven't laid eyes on yet.

Evan of course can see what the market holds and still come home to the Eagles.

See Jenkins (I know he wasn't an Eagle before), Hanson, etc.

Look how the LB market is playing out, it's a passing league, LBs are cheap now.
