I don't like Tommy Streeter, but everything else is solid. _________________

| I like the draft, but I only think we draft a DT if we get rid of Patterson. Streeter has good size and speed, hopefully he can contribute. I do not understand why people have us getting London Fletcher, he's 37, what have the FO done in the last 14 years to make people believe we would bring in a guy of that age? I understand he's a great player and - would love to have an LB of his caliber but I just don't see it at all. |

Pretty much this although I also don't like the first round pick, but I guess I'm close to alone in thinking not to go DT 1st round. I'm oddly enough starting to see just as many mocks sending Poe to us as I did Kuechly. _________________

The firs thing that absolutely needs to be said is I really like the way you seperated team FAs that were not re-signed and cuts.
If I see one more mock with a "cuts/not re-signed" section I might lose my mind. That is an instant "F" grade IMO. It's lazy, doesn't really "make it easier" in any way, and basically sucks. So bravo to you.
That said, there was no need to cut any of those guys pre-draft based on the numbers you show. Further, I really think that Jordan absolutely should and will be in camp and here's why: Jordan has been the "default" LB for the Eagles for years. It's almost like he's the starter standard. "Be better than Jordan". Have you ever noticed that whenever a guy fails at any LB position, it seems like Jordan takes over? SAM last year. He's played MIKE and WILL in previous years.
The FA seems alright to me. The only complaints I have about the draft are Streeter (please god no) and Reynolds (poor system fit). Everything else is solid to good. _________________

Good post, and very true.
I flip flopped between releasing Jordan and Fokou, but good point about Akeem.
I also was very close to taking Sanu at 46, but went with the height and possible deep threat instead. Looks like the Streeter pick was a questionable one.
And I didn't intentionally mean those cuts were before FA and the draft, (should have worded it differently) just throughout the process in general. _________________

for one yoru cap #'s are wrong, visit eaglescap.com.
Do not like the Fletcher signing due to his age, unless your getting another MLB out the draft by the name of hightower, not kuechly.
do not like the zbikowski signing, hes not elite or a good starting caliber safety. Go after a real S in either Laron Landry or O.J. Otogwe
Don't Mind the forsett signing but would rather have a real Power RB to complement McCoy
As for the draft, streeter is a bad pick, other needs are more important and hes not worth that 2nd round pick _________________ GM of the Arizona Cardinals (2012 MDFDG Mock)

Rainey isn't worth a draft pick let alone two. Otherwise I like it. _________________

What? Do you not see the link to that site at the top of the page (directly under the picture of Swoop with the cheerleaders)?
I actually just helped manage our FFMD ball club with a minor crash course in capology. I'm fairly familiar with our cap situation. _________________

He drafted a future MIKE prospect in Mychal Kendricks. His good combine backed up his play in college, so he's not just a "combine warrior", even if that's what got people to notice him. And Hightower will probably be a good LB in the NFL but is a poor system fit for the Eagles. I have explainecd why in multiple other threads.

He wasn't going for a starting safety and neither should the Eagles. They have 2 2nd round picks invested in the position that haven't had the chance to totally develop yet and a 7th rounder who looks like he might have some kind of potential. No need for that. He was going for experienced depth/ST. I'm not a fan of Zibby either, but it's not a terrible pickup. I want no parts of Landry and his injured Achilles that he refuses to get fixed and Otogwe sucked last year.

A solid, non flash mock.
Very much like the Eagles of old.
Very unlike the Eagles of last year.
Which one we will see, no one know.
Don't like drafting Streeter _________________

My biggest issues are Streeter who sucks (yea, I could draw it out and be more technical about it but we'll leave it at that) and Matt Reynolds playing tackle at the NFL level, he's projected at guard and thats probably where he'll succeed in the NFL, if at all.
I also think the MIKE situation is sketchy mostly because I don't like signing Fletcher because I don't want to be the team that he hits the age wall with and Kendricks is meh to me, mostly because I haven't seen much of him and he seemed to jump after the combine.
Besides that, very nice looking mock. You should pull it out more often than once a year. _________________

Thanks, he was my 1b option for pick 46, as I mentioned above. _________________
