Begins on March 13th. Get your popcorn ready.
Will Tempson stop sitting on his hands and sign somebody this year? Who fits well with the Packers? _________________

Somebody I've seen speculated, more than once, with the Packers is Adam Carriker. _________________

I doubt anything happens, like usual.
But if there is any justification for the ultimate sitting on hands that was not tagging Matt Flynn, then it might be free agency. _________________

My prediction:
One of Kendall Langford, Adam Carriker, or Anthony Collins. _________________

Carriker would just be a waste of money, he's nothing more than a rotational guy. _________________

Ted will sign Desmond Bryant from the Raiders if they only give him an original round tender. Book it. _________________

| Total longshot, but would love to see TT go after Mario Williams. It's not every day that you get a chance to add a premier pass rusher to your team. I could see this guy being lined up in multiple positions to cause matchup problems. I think that one move would radically change our pass rush overnight. |

Calais Campbell received a non-exclusive tag, wouldn't mind maybe talking it out with Arizona and give up a future pick for him. Heck, I'd trade our 2013 1st for him.
I really think we might look hard at one of the CBs on the market. Feel like the market might set pretty well. I've my eyes on Terrell Thomas from NYG. |

Oh, well in that case, its settled. No Carriker.
Never mind that the 27 year old had more sacks last season than any Packer DL player and would have been .5 of a sack away from leading the defense. _________________

Wait till they sign Manning and then steal Campbell from them. _________________

That's like saying Jeremy Guthrie was the best O's pitcher last year...not an impressive feat. _________________

Recording ~6 sacks from anywhere on the 3-4 DL is an impressive feat.
Carriker's got massive potential. He was drafted 13th overall but just hasn't lived up to the hype up until last year.
Oh and he's better than the rest of our DL other than Raji so why the hell not give him a shot? _________________ "Sorry for being so frank, Frank." |

| I like the idea of adding Carriker. He's cut out to play the five tech DE spot. I think that might actually be his best fit and it's a place the Packers could use an upgrade. |

I think its more like saying he wouldn't just be a rotational guy on the Packers D line. _________________

Players I'd be interested in at the right price.
QB: Chad Henne - Could get you out of a game or two if needed. Not a fan of Harrell at all and think Henne would do well with our coaching.
C: Dan Koppen - Stop gap for a year or two. Makes good line calls and solid in the running game
C: Nick Hardwick - Quick feet and hard worker. Solid in the run game. If he can stay healthy he would sure up the position for a few years.
DL: Mike Wright - Versatile lineman who provides some pass rush and solid tackling.
DL: Phillip Merling - Good size and power. Intense competitor. Solid fundamentals and can collapse the pocket.
DL: Adam Carriker - Very good size and power. Intense competitor. Very good against the run. Played much better in the 34 last year.
DL: Red Bryant - Solid run stopper. Great size and mobility.
DL: Pat Sims - Powerful and quick. Pushes the pocket.
LB: Jarret Johnson - High motor, aggressive, and versatile.
DB: Terrell Thomas - Solid corner coming off injury. Good against the run. Size/speed combo TT likes.
DB: Dwight Lowery - Versatile. Can play CB or either safety spot.
Wouldn't break the bank or go hard early for any FAs this year but if any of these guys were on the market after a week or so I'd look into them if they can be had at a good value. _________________
