Who do you guys think takes the 4th CB spot?

Brown probably?

I would think that Graham is the most likely 4th CB at this stage

Graham is having the best camp among the CBs not named Webb, Smith and Williams.

Graham or Gorrer.

Brown, IMO, is a bit of a longshot to make the team. I think Webb/Smith/Williams/Graham/Gorrer/Jackson will likely be the 6. Not sure we'd keep 7 CBs.

Yea I think the top 4 corners are pretty much locked barring an injury. You have to really bomb to not make the roster as a 5th round pick and Asa Jackson has definitely not been doing that so he's safe. Gorrer played really well in a couple games last season so he has to be the front runner for that 6th spot. I agree that Brown is likely the odd man out. He will be competing with guys from other positions for the final 2 or 3 spots. He probably needs to show some versatility has a safety, in addition to being a stud special teamer. I believe he still has practice squad eligibility but my guess is that someone would pick him up. If we trade anyone it would he or Gorrer.

Ravens cut QB John Brantley and signed tight end Billy Bajema. Veteran tight end who started 12 games for the Rams last season. More of a blocker, but could challenge Drew for the 3rd TE spot.

Expect Billy Bajema to step in for Dennis Pitta (broken hand) and ultimately compete with Davon Drew for a possible No. 3 tight end spot.

Bajema's name is familiar but I don't know much about him other than he's a blocker. As long as he's a capable one I like this signing. It fits what we've been talking about and I would think that he beats out Drew and the others for the 3rd/blocking TE spot on the team. It's nice to see everything on the offensive side of the ball is set. Except for the line of course, but that's working it's way out and I wouldn't be surprised to see them add another veteran later on too.

Yea this is exactly the signing we were expecting, very similar to the Kris Wilson signing last season. Speaking of Wilson, its interesting they chose to go with Bajema rather than Wilson given Wilson's experience on the team. Without really having an idea of how Drew or the undrafted guys look, I think Bajema is probably now the favorite for the 3rd tight end. I'd like to get a look at Figgins and Balasavage but I really just hope the best player earns the spot. I wonder if Figgins has been getting any reps as a 2nd team fullback, since he played fullback his senior year at Georgia.

BALTIMORE -- The Baltimore Ravens have signed former Canadian Football League linebacker Stevie Baggs.

According to his awesome Wikipedia page entry, Baggs was known as Shakespeare to his CFL teammates because all he does is make plays.

The 6-foot-1, 241-pounder played collegiately at Bethune-Cookman

Awesome signing, if only for that nickname.

If he doesn't stick, I nominate that nickname for Upshaw -- isn't elite in anything, but the dude just makes plays.

This isn't the Baggs' first stint in the NFL. I'm not really expecting him to make the team, but more pass-rushing competition is always nice. I found this amusing though:

I'm not expecting him to make the team either but you never know in the NFL, unknown players rise up every year. On another semi Ravens related note Greg Childs who a fraction of us (including myself) on this board wanted the Ravens to draft is done for the year and might end up like former Ravens and Browns DB Gary Baxter:

Double patellar tendon tear is the injury that ended Gary Baxter's NFL career after he signed a $30 million contract with the Browns.

Have to think #Vikings will explore FA or trade market for wide receiver now. They were hoping Greg Childs would earn prominent role.

Brutal. RT @TomPelissero Greg Childs' MRI is not complete but 2 sources say significant injury to both knees & he's likely done for year.

Yuck. That really sucks for Childs. But I still would've taken a risk on him in the 4th/5th round. You just never know when things turn around. And Childs seemed to be coming along somewhat nicely before the injury. But yeah, even with technological advancements, it's unlikely that he's able to return from this. It's a shame.

I wonder if the Ravens will show any interest in Shawne Merriman. Personally I don't think he would be an upgrade over what we have now, but he does fit the mold of the usual suspects the Ravens front office brings in late in preseason.
