Completely agree.. The more I think about it, the more I like the Charles pick. Great value and a matchup issue. Gruden needs to get our TE's more involved. _________________

Zeitler is a beast wanted him on Giants, awesome pick. Sanu was on Giants radar too. He is gonna be good opposite Green. _________________

Looking at the first post. RB, DE and LB are our 3 weakest positions IMO. _________________

Whalen i could see making the roster. Played well late last year. IMO, he doesn't get booted just because the team drafted someone in the 5th round.
Obviously there will be a competition, but it's not cut and dried. _________________

Do we know for sure that Shipley will be ready week 1? _________________

He is on schedule to be ready for OTA's but there is not promise of it. _________________

I would have to think so. He was hurt so early in the year that he should have been 70-80% by the time the season ended. _________________

And Shipley is going to be the hardest working guy to get back on the field. I have no reason to believe he wont be healthy and ready. He is such a huge addition to this offense. A stud back is all we need _________________

Put Herron, Prater, and Jones on the practice squad, moved Cochart to the practice squad, Charles as 3rd TE, Ghee to projected cut list, Iloka to backup FS _________________

Is he eligible. I thought once you had played in so many games you were ineligible ? _________________ " I imagine that in Paul McCartneys' house, he must have a shelf with the 12+ great 'Beatles' studio albums neatly stacked. No. He has 10 games experience. Must have 9 or less according to Wikipedia.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scout_team
| Quote: | | Both rookies and young veterans are eligible for the practice squad. However, a player cannot participate on the practice squad for more than three seasons, or if he has accrued a year of NFL experience (six or more games on a club's 53-man active roster or official Injured Reserve list.) If the player was on the active list for fewer than 9 games during their "only Accrued Season(s)", he maintains his eligibility for the practice squad. Games in which a player is listed as the third-string quarterback (a designation that has been abolished as of 2011) do not count as being on the active list.[1] |
He'll likely be cut. _________________

Not so fast on Cochart, as i think Lee might be in bigger danger of being cut. Cochart plays teams, Lee doesn't. Cochart is younger and cheaper. Charles seems like the backup TE now, and Cocvhart specializes in the things third string TEs typically do on this roster. _________________
