In the last 2 days I've now see this crap like 45 times... Maybe I saw it and had no idea wth it was, but now I know, and it's annoying.

They put together all of their episodes in about 6 days now. They have a documentary on netflix about the process. A lot of times, they don't have it finished until Tuesday night of a Wednesday airing.

The election related ones get done in even shorter times. The one they did last time was done in a day or so if I remember right.
Classic SP randomness tonight. Morgan Freeman was awesome.

No, the last one took a week too. They know Obama was going to win, so they didnt bother making a mcCain one.
For this one, they shot 2 endings (depending on the election results)

Notice when Obama was giving his speech on the TV that the lady behind him had the flag in her hair just like she had in the real life one?
That part had to have been put together in the past ~20 hours. Amazing.

My bad, must have misread/wrongly remembered the details. Either way still pretty impressive.

Yea, they played this on Comedy Central before too.
Makes sense though, its simple animation with the computers basically already programmed with every action, outfit, etc. already in it.....I wouldnt be surprised if the animation and editing took 2 days total.
